i think the topic creator just wants yao to get every single rebound in the game... he will not stop bashing Yao until Yao gets 50 rebounds... no other player can get a rebound... not even the opposing team's players... just Yao... and of course, "reefer owned kobe and got us the win"
Did anyone else notice that when Yao got both hands on the ball, he nearly always held on to it? Usually Yao loses 2-3 rebounds because the ball gets poked out of his hands, but he seemed stronger against the Lakers. A couple of times he got stripped of offensive rebounds when he brought the ball down and tried to go back up but that's different.
After a little time I would agree with this.. I used an inflammatory title and it should read "On the last play Yao was Lackluster". I had just viewed the last play and was kinda heated about it. Kinda like your family yelling at you like only they should be able to. Maybe some will understand. I think the reason Yao struggles in this rebound situation is the same reason he hardly ever wins a tipoff. Someone change this title for me since I have cooled down.
the guy is not perfect, its just one play.. besides its a team game.. the team won.. if one misses a play the other one covers.. such in the case of rafer!!

What makes you seem stupid is this is a Rocket board and Yao had arguably the best game of any rocket. He made 2 clutch shots down the stretch and quite a few critical rebounds and if his teammates would have continually gone to him instead of making stupid turnovers than this game would have been an easy win. So you pick out the 1 thing that you can to try to put down the best Rocket player of the night. Everyone knows Yao has poor lateral movement and very liitle hops. That's what you get with Yao but you also the best big man shooter with a great presence in the middle and a decent rebounder. Only a handful of bigman get more boards. So your petty complaints make you sound like stupid cynic or worse a troll and not the kind of Rocket fan I want on this board.
Last time I checked Yao ALLWAYS has his hands on his knees. From the first quarter all the way through to the last he never takes his hands off his knees. Thats just the way he plays. Soo your statment dosn't prove anything to me.
you do realize that both the shotty and the sword are useless at medium and long range, don't you? a plasma pistol is actually pretty powerful in wide open spaces.
I am convinced that some people on this board analyze things to no end until they find something to b**** about. It's sad.
