Assuming what Asianboy said is true, I suspect what she meant was she wanted him be able to walk normally, do regular everyday tasks. she probably wasn't referring to playing basketball. she was a basketball player, i am sure she know the difference between playing competive games and walking in the park. i bet sura can walk without any problems now, but it doesn't mean he can play.
Dude, that's probably Yao Daddy... Maybe Collin Pine answering the phone. Maybe Boki? I heard he's invited over for the New Year dinner.
I will put $20 in the jar if he comes back before January 29th. Anybody want in on this. $20 before 29th anybody for after the 29th.
Hold on a second. Don't you have this backwards. Aren't you supposed to put money in when you're proven wrong on info, while doubters are supposed to put in in when you're proven right? That's usually how it goes in these, "prove 'em" situations. BTW, I can totally believe that Yao's mom would say stuff like this. Chinese people can be VERY superstitious when it comes to luck and good fortune in the new year. Of course it doesn't mean Yao's going to get cleared by the Rockets trainers and medical staff. Yao'll come back when he comes back.
All in good fun..Any money that goes to the tip jar is good for me. This place has provide may hours of entertainment for me at work.
Where did you spend your X'mas eve this year ? At home with your family ? Then you will not surprise if Yao get back home in January 29th , coz that day is the Chinese New Year eve . All Chinese people have dinner with their family with all the relations(brothers,cousins,uncles,aunties...) , and the dumpling is the traditional dish in that day . So I do believe the title .
