Yao Ming - could he give it one more try?

I know we are all frustrated by the lack of recent success and team dying at the worst possible moment.

But it makes one wonder if perhaps Yao could be convinced into giving it one more try? Even off the bench or limited to 20 minutes a game he could have a major impact on this team, both offensively and defensively.

Do you guys think his feet cold hold up if he was limited to 20 minutes a game?

And would Yao even consider giving it one more try?

If Morey could convince him that might help lift this team out of mediocrity.

I for one would welcome the big fella back for one more go.

We already tried that and it's the reason we're in the situation we're in now.

I'd rather bring back SF3 and cat and moochie and suck for a year than have my hopes in Yao saving the Rockets. Technically this year would have been a good year for him since it was a shortened season but that ship has sailed, hit an iceberg and sank.

    Wow...

Well, look at it this way, we gonna tear it down and start over looks like. Lets just make sure we get the GM outta here while we are at it.

He can go be a genius somewhere else.

    Playoffs in 2015!!!

You can forget about it. He's living the good life with his daughter and wife. If I were him, I wouldn't either.

Wow, not a popular opinion. I was just thinking if we are not going to rebuild or tear it down, that we might be able to get him at a really cheap rate, and let him try one last time, he is only 31 years old.

Sure, and we can get Dream back too. While we're at it, Charles Barkley seems to have lost a lot of weight from his diet, why not bring him in too. Plus, Clyde still looks like he's in good shape. Let's sign all these guys to vet min and see where we go from here...

I don't care how old he is. He can't hold up, and if that wasn't clear three years ago it should have been clear at the beginning of last season.

Its not only bad for us, and it would be unfair to him to ask him to try to resurrect his basketball career. He's living a good life post-retirement. Don't mess with that.
