This may be a bit off topic. But I just don't want to start another thread.

Do you all think Yao's stamina is really that bad? I mean sure he won't run head to head with the guards, but compared to other bigs in the league, I felt he is above average...

It's not that bad, and it has steadily improved. He can play approximately 33-34 MPG now. Compared to the other bigs in the league it's great, but compared to some of the better bigs (Howard, Duncan, KG) and the all-time greats, his stamina is not that great.

I think that people make a big deal out of it because Yao is usually an extremely efficient player, but when he gets tired the efficiency goes down, and makes it easy to notice.

Even if this "guy" hangs on Les' jock he has no credibility.

there aren't any other true centers that play over 34 mpg. whether that's because of stamina, foul trouble or skill, who knows. Dwight Howard, Gasol, Stoudamire, Ben and Rasheed Wallace, Boozer, Al Jefferson, Jermaine O'neal, Okur, and Okafor aren't true centers, but even they play under 37 mpg. heck, even Duncan hasn't played 35+ mpg the last 3 years, and it's not because Elson, Oberto and Horry are so good.

the only notable bigs that play 38+ mpg are KG, Bosh and Brand.

Yes yes. Differnet rules, different league.. If Yao played under the old rules..he'd have better stats than Ewing, and maybe Shaq...he'd be MVP...

Look at Shaq now..eversince the rules changed, he hasn't been the same...

Oh..and yeah, I definitely believe Yao > Ewing. No question.

Fair enough, I am not going to doubt you, I just think your opinions are skewed by something, but then heck.....all of our opinions are skewed, so welcome aboard.

You must have some kind of personal vendetta against CD. When the players themselves have been praising CD for his work, how can you argue against that? You have given us no proof to back up your claims, yet you keep bumping this thread to not let it die.

Whatever peace-pipe you're smoking, you really should stop being this gracious.

I do disagree with you 75% of the time, but damn man whatever you post, at least make us believe it.

I think you're valuable here and this denniscd "guy" drops bombs that are so unsubstantiated that if he ends up being a disgruntled "legit" source I'll leave this bbs forever.

I don't trust anyone outside of Yao or T-Mac in this organization. And apparently everyone's happy about that. Too weird.

I would leave T-mac out of the equation in terms of trust.

What good does it do to argue about it?

I showed what I thought of CD with quotes from Hakeem, Rudy, Dennis Lindsey etc, and they all said something other than what he has been saying.

Let people decide whether or not to believe denniscd.....because arguing only gets me in trouble.

So you are saying that you are right only 25% of the time?

    :D

No one is praising him, per se, I think he has done some good and some bad...but you clearly think it is all bad.....

Hey man, I know how you feel regarding CD, I have similar feelings about other issues regarding the Rockets.
