sounds like they are copying america... lets bomb iraq and north korea, they might have weapons (but so do we, isnt that why they are building them?). and while we're at it france too.

Iraq and North Korea are breaking international law.... china even doesn't want north korea to have nukes... and america is not going to attack korea... and have you noticed america is not the only one who wants to attack iraq... england is right with us on this one... you can think what you want but america was a lot more evil for the vietnam war then then iraq... don't get me wrong america is bad too... but I don't claim america is a generous and tolerant society

You know the old Rodney Dangerfield saying, "i went to a fight and a hockey game broke out?"

I came here to learn about Yao Ming's automobile aesthetics and a political debate broke out!

Well, it sounded good when i thunk it up. :D

China is a "generous" country but it also knows what its limits are. They could've caused so many international wars by now. China gave up Mongolia to Russia.(people thought that was cowardish) In 1958, Indian troops causing trouble at the Tibetan border and the Chinese army took them out and it was a clear path to New Delhi. But they pulled back at the border. In 1979, Vietnamese government was smart-mouthing at the Chinese government. The Chinese troops occupied parts of Northern Vietnam and was very close to Hanoi(capital of Vietnam), and again, they pulled back. The only purpose was to show their influences but they didn't not want to destroy any nation. By the way, Taiwan is not a country legally nor Asian people see it that way.
Americans are brain-washed to hate their cold war opponents. The information of the world is closed to Americans and the information about America is open everywhere. Americans still think China is a land of poverty with donkeys and horses running around carrying rice bags, people dressing in mao suit (or worse, in ancient robes fighting Kung-Fu), and meanwhile remote village students in China know everything about American history from the declaration of independence to the Clinton Affair.

I'm Chinese, I don't hate anyone(including Japanese), I just look at them and think how it feels like to be brainwashed. It might turn out pretty well, not to worry anything.

Gee, I'm sorry to bring politics up. Please delete my message and lock up this thread. :)

    Go Yao Ming, Always!!!

I don't dislike China. I don't dislike anyone, besides the really really stupid people.

I also just wanted to say, not everyone agrees with everything our government does.

IMO, I think this thread has become political and should be moved to the hangout.

    Hmm...Air China.

China could take over all of its surrounding countries right now. But they are not aggressive. They don't want more land. They just want peace...They never tried to take over the world.

The Americans saved China in World War II, didn't they?

Why doesn't Yao Ming buy a rickshaw with a personal human runner in that comes with it. Maybe they can put some 22's on the rickshaw.
