Read my first post in this thread. I applauded Yao for taking us to the 2nd round. And the post you quoted had nothing to do with me being Korean (I'm actually an American citizen. I was born in Houston) or Yao being Chinese. I don't know where you got that I'm racist.
I thought about this too. I think the hairline fracture is a separate injury from the sprained ankle and might have been there for a while. Yao just didn't want to give up playing. I feel for you, Yao! Get well soon.
no doubt.. i really, really feel bad for him.. great young man and i wish he comes back at full speed.. Houston! we do not have a problem!! great season.. not over yet.. we can still take these fakers!! let's go Rockets!!!
Yao is a TruWarier. He gives you everything he can. He never complains, even when maybe he should. He doesn't get upset about not even getting the ball when he's killing the other team. I have a great respect for Yao, and am honored to have him on this team. Everyone talking about getting rid of him because he can't stay healthy needs to stop. Yao is the best center in the league. He helped drag us into the second round of the playoffs, over the grabbing, wrestling bodies of Pryzbilla and Odom. He played on a broken foot and refuse to leave the game. Respect the man. Respect the heart. Respect the effort.
Come on man, this is YAO's appreciation thread, not the evaluating report from official.its not the place where u gonna be so nit-picked.
Yao is a true tough guy, he plays hard, all game long. His body can not handle the stress.....the team needs to look at what it can do to help him. Better shoes? Inserts into the shoes? Less time on the post banging? What? DD
Can someone make a video with a good song to go with Yao non quitter attitude in game one. All the best in your rehab Yao. Please no TMac on the bench for Sunday's game. I am convince he is the bad luck charm on the team, need to get rid of that guy asap.
Basic law of physics: Force = Mass times acceleration When your mass is over 300 pounds, every step Yao takes creates an enormous force. There is no way around it. Durability will forever be an issue for Yao to overcome. More like, an issue that Yao can't overcome. Yao needs to play less minutes during regular season, as simple as that.
Just expressing my appreciation and admiration for all that Yao has done for the Rockets, this season and during his whole career. He's provided us with so many unforgettable moments. I know I'll never forget Game 1 against the Lakers, when he stormed back into the game despite his knee. Thanks, Yao.
I'm proud of Yao and the whole Rocket team. They have achieved their realistic goal, which is passing the first round. Of course, the Rockets are not done yet. I hope they would eliminate the Fakers. However, without Yao and Deke, it will be extremely hard to defend the bigs of the Fakers. Let's hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. Even if the Rockets lost, I couldn't be prouder of them this season.
Lakers fan here. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm sad that Yao's hurt too. He's definitely one of the most likable athletes in the game today and its obvious he gives 100% every time hes on the court and wants to help you guys win so badly that he'll play through pain even when he probably shouldnt be playing. His heart and passion for the game is matched by only a select few. Its very disappointing news, but just think of how much he cares for the team and how much of a warrior he is. Think about the fact that you guys have someone that you know will give everything he has and more, each and every minute hes on the court. A lot of players just dont care that much. Yao is one of the great ones, thats for sure. Wishing nothing but the best for him and for the Rockets organization, and I look forward to the grind it out fight that will be game 4! Best of luck to you guys.
appreciate Yao for his Commitment Courage and Hard Work. he has done his part to change. I respect him as a hero player.
