Simple. Name another forward in the EC other than Grant Hill.

who cares? it's a popularity contest. i'm glad to know our players our marketable. but it pretty much ends there for me.

We are due for two marketable stars after one fo tthe greatest but
    least-marketable superstar in the game.

is that a curse?? i'd rather have the least-marketable star who wins rings.

Would it be even better that we get both attention and rings? Have faith in Tmac and Yao.

honestly, i kinda liked the lack of attention. people around the league knew hakeem rocked. and we knew it. and when we won, it was all the sweeter because we were an underdog story, despite having the best player in the league for the 2 years we were champs. it was great!

hakeem made his share of all-star games...so i'm not sure how this is relevant, anyway.

As documented several times by others to you, Yao's votes come from paper ballots. Shaq won the internet balloting last year, try reading.

noize made the same comments last year, and numerous articles posted by other users proved him wrong. He seems to have a bad memory or has trouble accepting facts

Don't be so ****ing ignorant, what kind of Rox fan doesn't know that yao won the balloting done in arenas, and that Shaq won the Internet voting last year.

I think the coaches will have Wade and Steve as the backup guards. Both can play PG and SG, and both are playing too well to be ignored. Steve's gonna make it, don't worry ;)

How many teams missed playoff with two all-star starters on the roster? Not many, I hope Rox won't become another one.

As many mentioned, All-star game is just popularity contest. Now if we have two members of All-NBA first team, that will be a real achievement.
