I'm not saying there has been, but, it's not completely necessary to bring up a new thread even when there's no news. Still, even if that was the reason, i think it's a little harsh.

 

No, its not about whether it was funny or not. In fact, if it would've been anything other than footage from HS Musical sh***, I just might find it funny.

But I do feel for you though, and I for one certainly don't think you should be "demoted" for this. I have experienced it myself once......*cough*....

I think you hit it on the head. I would add that if one person makes a thread like this, then another may do the same thing, then another... and another. I think the admins are trying send a message. They don't want a bunch of childish, non-basketball related threads filling up the GARM.

The highschool video one would be more appropriate for Steve and Cutino.

 

Notes to self:

1. Don't show Yao as girl.
2. Don't start thread in GARM.

I lol'd my ass off at both of them, although the Artest one was better. There appears to be some kind of cultural issue with "making" Yao a woman, but it seems to be done in a good-natured way, so I don't see any harm being done here.
