I seriously felt like shedding some tears when he was in the back with Keith and he was trying to do everything he can to convince Keith to let him go back and finish the game. This game, from start to finish, shows so much heart and pride in our team. I don't think I can ever get mad at our guys anymore, not after witnessing their characters tonight. Someone should seriously make a MV just based on the 1st game tonight. So much story within this game, it's just a awesome thing to see. Make me glad I'm a Rocket fan, one of the best game I've ever watched. btw, WE BEAT THE ALMIGHTY LAKERS. I'M ON TOP OF THE WORRRRRRLD.
YAO FOR PRESIDENT! He showed true guts and courage out there and was simply sensational when he came out of the break to hit that 20 ft jumper and knock down ft's. Simply amazing! Props to the big man!
Yao's moment in the Tunnel is so moving. This is the moment we'll all remember. That's why he's a super star. It's his spirit, his sportsmanship, and above all, his professionalism. Who said Yao is not tough enough? He's the toughest!!

Greatest performance in Yao's career! Real Superstar stuff. Coming back after getting knocked down and in pain to beat Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers on their home court. Unbelievable! Giving a Dream like performance. I'm not implying that he is or will ever be as good as Hakeem but tonight was his night! 28 points,10 rebounds and 2 blocks and leading us to a 100-92 win.I can hardly believe it! Hope Yao will be fine for the rest of the season. GO HOUSTON ROCKETS!
Man, I was PRAYING when Yao went down. Well, the praying came after screaming and much profanity. I am so happy that the TNT crew was there to capture Yao telling the trainer to forget the injury and put him back in the game. We hear so many "Yao is soft" comments (sometimes I am guilty of it as well), and I'm glad the country got to see how tough he really is (I know folks were watching because it was against the Lakers). Even the TNT crew was giving him props for going back in....
there were so many kodak moments in this game. the biggest of which was yao fighting his trainers to get back in the game. when yao hit that 20-footer on the first possession after coming back from the tunnel, i literally shed some tears as i jumped around flailing my arms and making all sorts of unmanly sounds.
even in games where yao struggles to get 10 points it SHOCKS me that anyone can ever question his toughness or his heart. I don't think we need more proof that this kid is far from soft, but if you did he just said f#$k you. what a moment, what a game.
Yao is one tough dawg. I was dejected when he went down but when he came out and hit that shot. It was like Rambo came back for revenge!!!! Way to stick it to them Yao
on a side note... damn!! i have work tomorrow in 5 hours.. on a sider note.. WHO HAS A VID OF THE GREATEST MOMENT IN YAO HISTORY!? Pls post on youtube!
Can you imagine if Keith Jones actually got his way and insisted that Yao go to the locker room? Game 1 would have been a loss. Thank God Yao refused to listen to Keith Jones!
This was a defining moment in Yao's career. Probably his best overall performance. Hats off to, indeed, a TRUE WARRIOR!
