OMG HE SAID "I WANNA GO BACK OUT THERE" WHILE KEITH JONES WAS TRYING TO FORCE HIM TO THE LOCKER ROOM. WOW. A SOLDIER. GO GET EM YAO. EAT THE HEAD!!!
I was going to make the same thread, but I agree big time. We need to stop riding on him when he has sub-par games, I shouldn't have said he was playing soft and all that. We need to appreciate our players more and I think Yao getting injured is that signal Yao is a real warrior.
This was Yao's defining game in the playoffs! that scene where TNT played where he refused to go to the locker room and returned, then knock down a 18ft jumper and score 4 pts total afterward to seal the victory. yes this was a team victory with AB stopping the bleeding with his individual prowess, and artest's 3pt play. but man, i have been waiting for a playoff game where yao was truly "the man" and the star among stars. this was it. hopefully it can continue for the rest of the series. he deserves the "tru warrior" moniker tonight
I shed some tears seeing Yao fall down injured, rise, and show determination and courage to get back out there. He was willing to put the team on his shoulders, and knee.
