lol. these threads are so funny. THE ONLY REASON we're considered contenders is because we have a big man....what teams do you know win without a big man?

    phx-big man
    san antonio- big man
celtics-big man. believe me if you replace kg with another perimeter player, i wouldnt take them seriously
    orlando-big man

even Miami when they won the championship. Shaq was washed up, but you still gotta double down and he caused enough problems for them to win the championship.

What teams in the last 20 years other than Jordan's bulls have ever won without a big man?

I agree completely. I hope this tough stretch weeds some of the gutless turds out of the fanbase.

Your on point with the quote, I'd rather be rolling in March and April instead of November and December. Check the teams who are rolling after the allstar break and how well they are playing.

I'm concerned with the defense but that's on the players not Ricky A.

My thoughts exactly! What are these people thinking about by saying we are losing because of yao and t-mac? We have been losing because of our supporting players scoring in single digits or not at all  . Steve Franchise was exiled to the end of the bench and the coach is passive. Everyone said that pg was our most prized position but it is actually where we are weak! We are horrible because our role players simply suck :(

Yao didn't have a field goal since the first quarter? WOW. I didn't realize that. Is that a typo?

You quoted an article which says the term is "deemed racist". And then you used that term in the opening statement of your post. So

    (1) Are you trying to tell us that you are a racist?

    Or

    (2) Are you just r****ded?

    Which is true?

I suggested this a two years ago but if y'all are really serious about how you think the NBA is racist then you should boycott the NBA.

Don't attend games, don't even watch games and don't buy NBA material.

I agree Yao gets some bad calls but some of y'all are comparing this to segregation. Well if you feel this is such a serious issue then do what the people did to fight segregation and boycott.

For that matter if you think the games are fixed since "we aren't picked by the NBA" then what is the point of watching the games other than entertainment value. You might as well watch WWE wrestling.

Guys, it has nothing to do with his race. It has to do with the fact that he is a big man playing during an era when a) they've artifically slanted the rules to favor perimeter guys (no hand checking outside allowed, but mutiliation allowed inside) and b) the refs just don't know how to ref a 7'6" guy with skills. Not sure why, but they just don't. The bias is against men of size, and has nothing to do with ethnicity. Still appalling, but not racially motivated.

I can't agree with you more. The idiots who say Yao should not play in the NBA because of the unfair officiating are pansies.

Even if the answer is (1), he is still a r****ded racist. He used the racist term and then posted an article which mentions someone has run into trouble because of using that term. So one way of the other, he is still r****ded.

r u blaming yao's 6 TO per game on his teammates? that's 6 NBA possessions lost. That's not including his personal fouls (offensive and defensive) and his missed shots..Yes they matter because plays are given to him in the clutch and he misses the shots in the clutch most of the time! And on defense his FOuls last night is a toss up between battier, yao and chuck hayes in boneheadedness

If we really happen to win a championship with Yao on the team, it will be the biggest tragedy in your life and you will probably have to cry in the arms of your momma for the next 15 days. You will then have a 2-year depression in which you find yourself of serious psycho-physical imbalance and don't wish to participate in life and living and generally feel downright miserable.

Ah...one more thing... I want to puke every time I see the 'we' in your post. You stink.

I'd like to see rox trade yao, because the boss of rox only need his existence to make money.

The only way Yao wins a title is if he gets waived and picked up by Boston, San Antonio or Dallas.

I don't think we can ever win a championship with Yao unless the rest of the team is great. He can't carry anyone. We can't keep trading for average players year after year. Hakeem, Shaq, and Duncan can carry average players, but not Yao. If we really want a championship, we need to trade Yao for role players that T-Mac can carry, and T-Mac has more than proven he can carry a bunch of scrubs.
