    To me on the replay it looks like he caught a knee in his leg just above his own knee in the lower hamstring area...

    The guys on TV keep saying strained tendon in his FOOT, Feigen says it's not his foot...so what is it?

    Rockets post-game is saying "official word from Rockets is strained tendon is his foot." Eschenfelder (sp?) specifically said that twice.

    I was excited at first to hear that Yao was going to be back and healthy this season. However, after seeing his ineptitude on both ends of the court and now another injury, he needs to retire gracefully. Every fan would understand that he tried to come back and give it all he had. Instead he embarrasses himself and the team.

    Hakeem did the same thing. Could have gone out with class after his career ended in Houston. Had to go and try and play in Toronto. Shamed himself by doing so. 7PPG in Toronto. Went out quietly and with his head down. Hard to watch.

    Anyone remember MJ's 'comeback' with the Wiz? Puhleeeze.

    I understand the will to compete, but sometimes you gotta fly while the window is open.

    Time to send Yao to the 'out to pasture' while he can still do it with class.

    he didn't say...but 2x during postgame show, while heading out to break, he said, "official word from the Rockets is a strained tendon in his foot."

    of course, it's possible he misspoke. still watching now...we'll see if he says it again.
