    Justice is an idiot.

Unless he is breaking this as fact he is seriously misinformed.

Justice is probably just speculating about a BONE scan when it is allegedly a tendon problem....which is an MRI issue.

I think they are probably doing the BONE scan to make sure it is just a tendon issue and will go from there.

I hope nobody is surprised if this ends up being more serious.

He hasn't finished the last 5 seasons, what makes you think he can make it a 6th?

Justice is a disgrace of a journalist. JF is the only respected individual at HC nowdays.

If Keith Jones didnt even bother walking back to the locker room with him, then i think the pain had to be minimal....so hopefully this won't be a big issue, maybe a week off at most...

I would hope, since the pain is in that left foot, that this is all just trying to be overly cautious and REALLY making sure this is not a sign of a setback or worse.

But man, Yao sounded frustrated as hell in the locker room afterwards. Good sign was he mentioned it was his ankle. But, his demeanor during the interview scared me more than anything. He looked like he was trying not to cry or holding back from punching out a reporter.

He might have been told to say ankle to keep the reporters off the track.....don't want to say anything until you really know.

I am 50/50 on believing ankle or foot....would not be surprised by either.....

But one would make me very sad for him and the team.

You try working you'r tail off to get back from that surgery to only be injured again. It's not fun. You just gotta say i'm sorry and move on at the years end

Even if the foot was Ok, he should sound frustrated. Is 1-6.

But we wait, we will know tomorrow. But even if is was minimal they will take extra persecution with him.

a tendon strain shouldn't be all that serious. it's a set-back but not something that is more than a month.

i mean, the dude got up and was walking immediately - and then started limping after he sat down. That's more consistent with tendon strain than a broken bone.

Haha, glad I'm not alone in noticing this. I guess people enjoy panic and distress.

The Rockets ran into a Wall. That was the pain, not a muscle strain in Yao's leg.

Let Yao sit longer than he needs to.

Harrison Barnes is too good. The Western Conference is too deep.

If it's just minor, we're still on track. Increase his minutes and go full out.
If it's something minor, Yao will retire and we have to develop our young players and rebuild.

What a fruit cake. I had the over under towards the end of the season with the 24 minute limit. Done with Yao.

Another month of losing and a a quarter of the season will be over. At that point the Rockets would have a better chance at a top 5 lottery pick than homecourt advantage in the playoffs.
