I could not agree with you more. Yes, Yao at this point in time is a good center occasionally playing great but, to be an MVP, a HOF'er you have to bring it EVERY night! I think Maggette would at least partially cure what ails us. Good intermediate jumper, proficient at driving and finishing to the hoop plus, he's a foul magnet and he shoots well from the charity stripe. You would rather have Kaman than Brand? I know he's out for the season but, Brand potentially would be a beast for us scoring and rebounding.

My personal opinion like I said is we have too many supporting cast players with inconsistent or even incomplete game skills. We also have players who look like potentially (surmising the season to this point) who either cannot or will not adapt to RA's up tempo style. Save for AB, Bonzi, the rest of the supporting cast is a liability.

IMO you can't blame RA and Morey for this! Adelman is trying to find a combo that works. The problem is our shooters largely suck or have been playing WELL below par. Battier, MJ, SF3, Head (until recently). I mean WTF somebody has to show some pride, someone has to step up their game (if any of them have ANY game) especially now that our oft-injured star will be sitting down some more.

The next 10 games will either make or break our season. We're on the verge of becoming irrelevant for the playoff picture, ALREADY!

Man, this season is starting to blow hard!

Yeah, Vernon did a HELL of a job in that game (in the series with a major assist to Sam I AM in game 3) plus, defensed Starks (2 for 18 after nearly pulling the shocker win in game 6 but Hakeem DENIED the effort) into a pickle. Haha! Indirectly, I was acknowledging he played great but, like Horry he could have been GREAT if he really had wanted to.

I mean couple that effort with game 1 vs Utah in 95 and it does not even seem like the same player. Rudy sent him home for GOOD after that game! He never played for the Rockets again! Just hard to believe you know. How could he be SO good one moment and then, (huh?) the next?

That's the bummer part about it! When things were going good his fiery attitude inspried when things weren't going well, his attitude and mannerisms could disintegrate a locker room. Note, V-Max prior to choke city becoming clutch city, he said "houston fans were the worst ever to HELL with them." Another example, the altercation with a fan in Portland. He needed to handle his business better.

He was a loose cannon part of that was what made him good sometimes unbelievably great but, with V-Max it was like riding a roller coaster. It was always an unpredictable, crazy ride to the finish with plays, games, playoff series, etc.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde had nothing on ol Vernon! :D

Some can/could ride that edge and not lose it. Barkley talked a lot but, his play spoke volumes and more than not vindicated some of the stupidity that came out of his mouth except in the franchise defining back to back conference semis vs the Rockets, you're welcome Charles! That's one time Charles definitely WASN'T in charge! Those years "Butt Kicking Inc." went bankrupt! LOL! :D

I recommend you read this book,
    http://januarymagazine.com/nonfiction/keepinit.html

it'll correct your thoughts on several of our heroes!

I like the Vernon Roller Coaster, it took us to the top, the Tmac Roller Coaster is just one big loop like Grease Lightning and it breaks down all the time.

A Yao for Yi + parts and picks might be interesting. Aside from Redd and maybe Villanueva, the Bucks just don't have much in trade value. Neither team loses it's China connection.

Nice job to have conveniently brought up all Yao's weaknesses only. Perhaps you could also say Yao makes it look much more easy because of strengths in his game. Anyway, why do you hate on a particular group of people so much? Is it because what has been said by a few people out of 100,000 of them.

Living with hate is not easy. You should try to give yourself a more relax and happy life.
