Yao is not injury prone

    OP, you make a plausible argument, but you could've timed this better. At this point most Rox fans just took a devastating blow with Yao's latest injury--not a good time to convince them otherwise.

    HOWEVER, a better argument you could have made is this:

    Yao is LESS injury-prone than Tracy McGrady.

    This can be backed up with pretty good stats:

    1) Yao has missed FEWER games on the Rockets than McGrady--I don't think many people realize this.
    2) Yao's injuries have been on one area, while McGrady has had back, knee, ankle, shoulder injuries.
    3) One of Yao's key injuries was actually a freak accident that could have broken any other player--having Tim Thomas crush his left leg in that Clippers game.
