How the hell has no one responded to any of these claims with this sheet!?

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jss1xEzh5b4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jss1xEzh5b4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

The only thing that can f.cking stop Yao is his lack of stamina, which will only improve every game. Come playoff time, we will be witnessing a monster we've never seen before. I feel sorry for Utah... wait never mind... they deserve it.

So you would rather have Mutombo on the court in 4th Q and have Rafer shoots the 3s???? I'll take tired Yao over those guys. Did you guy saw the play where we were down by 2 and Rafer instead of passing to cutting Yao elected to shoot the 3s? Still don't know why JVG like Rafer, Rafer must have some dirt on JVG and is blackmailing him  ...

I don't mind if Rafer shoot 3 or not as long as he choose right chance. Today he should not shoot that 3 in the last few seconds, let Yao or Tmac finish it.

I think is b/c beside T-mac, only rafer can bring the ball down the court without turning it over?

he was open, he have to take the shot. If he passed the ball & that person missed, it blame will most likely go abck to rafer since he didn't take the shot when he was open. Basically a lose lose situation for him unless he make the shot.

Yao's job is to make sure there IS a game to close! What do you think makes the leads for rox in first 3 quarters?! It is simply cruel to require Yao to do all the jobs, from offense to defense throughout the whole f**king game. Look at Kobe and I really felt sorry for him despite his 50+ trophy. It simply takes five for the game.

Absolutely, tmac needs to step up big time, and he didn't deliver. Stupid pull up 3 pointers isn't going to win big games mac!!

This thread is not trash, it says some truth, though not the whole truth. But Yao does need to improve his stamina to a higher level. A fresh Yao is the best center in this league, a tired Yao is totally another story.

I think asking yao to improve his stamina to a higher lvl is ridiculous. He played more min then T-mac today. (40min for yao & 36min for T-mac)

Yao shouldn't be playing more then 35 min if you want him to be efficient imo.

The problem with this game is that for some odd reason there were no plays for Yao in the final 2 minutes. Just terrible plays involving Rafer and Tmac, who didn't come through. I'll take a tired Yao shooting in the paint over jacks from the 3 point line any day!!!

    Yao fan here.

As much as I love Yao, when he gets tired, JVG should run other plays or consider taking him out of the game completely.

Looking back at the Phoenix Suns game a few weeks ago when the Rockets played back to back games, Yao is unfortunately, a liability when he is tired. Like any sport, you need fresh legs. No athlete can perform at his best when he is tired. Worse, when one is tired, you will inevitably make "mistakes." Maybe have Mcgrady taking more shots in the 4th quarter or something ... whatever the case, JVG has to alter the strategy when Yao is tired.

Having said that, Yao played excellent tonight overall, despite his drop in play in the last quarter.

The rest of the team needs to take the blame. Other than Yao, 5/25 shooting in the first half? 5/25 in the 1st half just pathetic.

Still Yao need to improve his stamina and make strong plays in 4th quarters.

When it come to the playoff, you really want to leave your star players on the court as long as you can. And you will also want your star players take all the shoots in the 4th quarters. So we need Yao and Tmac to play strong at the 4th quarters and at the same time play big minutes.

40 min playtime is JVG's way of preparing Yao for the playoff!!

Go go big Yao! Take on the challenge!

No, we should keep force feed him until he learnt how to play with tired legs. He is going to play big minutes and need to finish strong in the playoff.

Killer instinct? Yeah, I think JVG was pointing his finger at Yao.

Why Yao can't score 50+? Yao don't have lasting stamina. This is obvious. Any NBA team will/is exploit this. Don't you think JVG so dumb not to notice this? Does he has any other viable choice? Seems not.
Yao is not Shaq, Yao average 33.9 minutepg this season and look bad at 4th. Shaq averaged 40+ mpg for multiple years. If Yao don't break leg he may perform better.

Anyway this is a stupid thread.

So you think Yao should play 40min every game? I truely think that will ware him out before the playoff begin. Playing center is a lot harder then guard, they basically have to westle to gain good position & shoot. Yao should limit himself to 35 min imo, unless his team is simply dead like today.
