The worst thread ever! Yao didn't get a rest the whole 4th quarter. It's totally JVG's fault. He made Yao inefficient!
what? our defense was great (7 block & outrebound jazz by 1), the problem was offense. Deke played 6 min & only had 1 rebound & picked up 3 foul. so...not sure where your getting at.
Dude, I have no idea why you are here. You obviously just come here to hate. You would be hiding when the team played well and then sneak out from your closet to bash the players, especially Yao, after we lost. Are you having a miserable life or what? It's really sad that you have to take your inner anger out on an internet bulletin board. And I am not talking about this particular post here. The history of your past posts in this forum speaks volume. Just do a search for the past posts of this idiot and everyone will know what I am talking about.
we need to give it to yao whenever hes deep otherwise im not comfortable with him at all putting the ball on the ground b/c he always loses it
Alston has absolutely zero midrange jumpers. He is one of the bottom PGs in NBA. Well that being said, I am still surprised by his atrocious play today. I thought he knew he was just a scrub and did not have the guts to kill the team at clutch time. ....
I meant for the last 4 minutes. 16 points in 4 minutes. That's not great defense. But seriously, if we're all going by trends, then Yao should've scored 40 and carreid the Rockets to a win. He didn't. I don't blame him. But to assume that Deke would do nothing is the same as assuming Yao should've put up a 40 point game in that crucial 4 minutes of time. Patterns don't hold all the time and the fact is, the Jazz got most of thier last points by attacking the paint and attacking a tired Yao.
honestly I wouldn't trust T-mac if he keep taking those jumper. When T-mac have the ball, he should either go to the basket strong or set play for other. And considering he actually pass back to yao on that last play seem to show he isn't confident enougth to take that shot.(or maybe is just a mental mistake) The last time i saw T-mac take a clutch shot was like back in 04 playoff on the 2nd match vs. Mavs. Right now, IS all or nothing for T-mac. I know this is not playoff, but still he have to go all out and 2 FT won't cut it.
Yao is the last player to be blamed for today's loss ... I would start with JVG. He doesn't have much imagination for play-off like game plays.
yao was playing decent. how could you still blame him for that? if you were JVG, when yao's the only guy could score while others are off, who would you trust more? take a walk. this loss is acceptable, and we WILL get homecourt advantage.
Even if Yao's production went down in the 4th quarter, he was still the best Rocket out there, and the problem that he does not get enough touches in the last 2 minutes of every game.
please u dont know what ur talking about.... Without Yao this game would not even last to 4th quarter. On the other hand, tmac is the one that is not assertive enough
The admins should limit a person like this from starting useless threads. I agree Tmac should be the one finishing the game, but if you looked at how he played today, do you think he could have played better than Yao? The tmac today was totally different than the one in the Lakers game. Tmac wasn't nearly as aggressive driving to the basket. The last possession, Tmac gave up that 3 pt look and passed it to Yao, only to get the ball back with 1.5 secs and a terrible look at the basket.
Yao is paid $15M to dominate, I think he just did that. Another so called super star is paid $17M to close the game. He is compared to the great Kobe Bryant. Well, when was the last time he actually closed a game and had a winning shot?
Yao's jumper is still better than the rest of the team in today's game. I don't think you didn't see the fact. I think you are just a hater! I also you are a sick man!
