Brad Miller is playing really well this year, and he did outplay our entire front line in that game in Sacramento. The Kings are having a good season and Brad Miller is a big part of that. I watched Miller when he was in Purdue and with the Bulls. I know how bad he was. That's why I can really appreciate how much he has improved his game. Remember this guy was undrafted out of college. He just played this way into an all-star caliber player. It's quite incredible in my opinion.

On the other hand, Yao has improved his game this year and has been putting up good numbers. And considering his off-court impact, I dont see him being excluded from the all-star game. I believe that Shaq, Yao, and Miller will all be all-stars this year.

If Yao stays in the league he will start until he retires! Nobody knows who he is outside the US!

If Yao isn't in the allstar game, he'll play in the rookies vs. 2nd year game, assuming they're still playing that, so he won't get any rest either way.

I'm not offended by the word "chinamen".

    I'm offended by your ignorance.

You have an IQ of a pile of dirt.

    This thread can't be serious.

Am I the only one who realizes how many people in China are going to vote Yao in?

    I didn't think so.

No no, even without China, I think Yao has more pub in the US than Brad Miller. I think the general feeling out there is that Yao is a good player... or actually maybe not I don't see him on sportscenter that much.

I mean the unbiased voter votes for Shaq because he's a monster. I think one game he has 17-19 and 9 blocks or something. And he's totally playing team ball. But I mean I already voted for Yao Ming a couple of times because Yao is cool. Also it's good to see asian athletes suceed in the pros. yes... I'm the non-japanese guy who voted for Shinjo for MLB all-star those years he was in the league. haha...

What your problem? The guy obviously didn't know that is a derogatory term and has apologized for what he said. What else do you want him to do?

How could you people choose Yao over Miller?:D Don't you forget about last years ROY vote? Same thing here, according to DavidS,

Their stats are close, but SacTown has a better record, therefore, Miller more deserve all-star vote over Yao.:D

You cannot count on the impact they have on their respective teams, because those are too hard to tell, according to DavidS.:D

Let it go, man. The guy obviously didn't know it, and he apologized late.

    droxford,

"Chinaman/Chinmen" is as offensive to Chinese as N-word to the African American. So that's very serious.

    peace!

Yao deserves to start over any other C.

The All Star game is NOT about the best players, it's about the players that MOST fans want to see.

Wow... that a really elegant argument... you're right. That's what a star is, star power is measured by popularity anyway.

I stopped watching ASG a long time ago. IMHO, And1 puts on a much better show than the annual ASG.
