This. Finally, some words of sanity amidst this irrational whirlwind of comments from some Rockets fans.
I think what the OP meant was that, like Tmac, Yao is done as a franchise player. He has to accept the fact that he's a role player from now on, not saying he won't contribute or anything.. but we need to lower our expectations a little
He's not done as a franchise player. He was injured. Did you get the memo? He's not 100% yet. Talk about overreacting.
Yao Ming hasn't been 100% for the last half decade. This is far from overreacting. He will never be 100% ever again, and to think he would is foolish.
ok first lean some grammar. second Hill played terrific tonight, I would play him over Miller any day.
because I knew mod would lock it. But I am surprised this thread gets a totally different treatment, just because it's after a bad game ? dual standards can I say ?
I like that song Jim <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7CFoJuRcjHU?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7CFoJuRcjHU?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Yao is still a good player and help a team win. At this stage,he's a 3rd option. He was never a great player because of certain issues thats hard to control. If yao is higher than a 3rd option, your team is in trouble. Not to mention you need certain kind of players to really cover his weakness.
