I don't get ranking Iverson ahead of Robinson. I'd probably put Ewing ahead of him also.

coleman was very talented before illness and injuries took him down. least he's much better than joe smith.

i think ewing never won an MVP, iverson did.

and iverson has won multiple scoring titles and has a top scoring average in history of the NBA.

Iverson and Ewing each carried their respective teams to one NBA Finals (Ewing made a 2nd on the wings of Camby, Sprewell, and JVG). Granted, Ewing had to deal with MJ his whole career, but Iverson carrying that Sixers team to the Finals was pretty impressive -- Mutombo was the #2 scorer!

I like how the dropoff from 9 to 10 is Webber to Coleman. This list really should've ended at 9. :p

That makes basically 9 out of 24 top picks who at least reached perenial all-star level, a bit better than 1 out of 3. That's actually better odds than I expected. And I'd imagine a hell of a lot better odds than #1 picks in any other other team sport.

C-Webb is a bit underrated I would say.

    #10 Derrick Coleman
    #9 Dwight Howard
    #8 Yao Ming
    #7 AI
    #6 Webber
    #5 Ewing
    #4 Robinson
    #3 Lebron
    #2 Duncan
    #1 Shaq

Webber is incredibly underrated. If it wasn't for that fixed Lakers series chances are he would have led the Kings to at least one title. That team was deep, but his passing really set the tempo for their offense along with Divac.

LeBron should be behind Ewing, but this is no surprise. They don't call the channel LESPN for no reason.

Well at least they got Shaq ahead of LeBron. ughh

    Almost perfect list.

I'd put Robinson ahead of Lebron based on results. I beleive Lebron will overtake Robinson but if he's gotta do it first. As of today, Robinson has a greater body of work than Lebron.

This is the REAL list. Not some LESPN garbage

    #10 Derrick Coleman
    #9 Dwight Howard
    #8 Yao Ming
    #7 Webber
    #6 Iverson
    #5 LeBron
    #4 Ewing
    #3 Robinson
    #2 Duncan
    #1 Shaq

LeBron will eventually reach #2 and #1 probably, but RIGHT NOW he ain't better than Patrick Chewing and he ain't better than the Admiral. Get a ring first LeBron.

I'm sorry, but that's lame. Iverson took a garbage team to the Finals, and DID NOT GET SWEPT.

Anyways... I agree with the list, except LeBron at #3, Duncan at number 2.

    Dwight over Yao.
    David Robinson over Iverson.

No way Lebron is over Duncan.

I wish theyd bring it back one more year and see where theyd throw Hakeem in the list. Less accomplishments than Shaq or TD, but clearly ability is just as big a criterion to these guys. I think he would be at least at #2 and ideally #1, because he made the finals as quick as Shaq and Lebron. A better overall center than Shaq, and the freak factor of Lebron was present (in lesser magnitude) in Hakeem's agility and power for an undersized center.

where the hell's KG? Coleman over Mourning or Deke? Coleman accomplished nothing. heck, i'd take T-Mac, Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Tim Hardaway, or even Penny Hardaway over Coleman. Kobe, hated as he is, should be on that list as well. too early to put Dwight Howard on there. that's just based on future potential. i know clutchfans love to hate on Pippen, but i would put the best second banana of all time over Webber. speaking of another hated player, Karl Malone should be on that list too.

It's #1 OVERALL DRAFT PICKS. Not just players who were drafted in the 1st round. #1 overall. Hate to be mean, but you fail.

I think I would put Brand over Coleman. Brand is oft injured, but DC was just lazy.

well, that's not a hard list to rank. in that case, Yao Ming is pretty low overall. seventh or eighth, especially when you consider how many busts there were at number 1 (Kwame, Olakowandi, Joe Smith, Bargnani, Bogut, Pervis Allison), putting him in the bottom half of the non busts. hmmmm.... 2 or 3 championships should move him right behind Robinson, who should definitely be rated higher than Iverson.

    I would put:

    1) Duncan

    2) Shaq

    3) James

and Dwight over Yao... Howard will be in the conference finals and won a game 7 on the road.

well with history as a guide, i think Elton Brand over Derrick Coleman is a no brainer.
