    You must be speaking from your own unique life experience. I am asian and I have many asian friends. None of us has a bizarre family like yours. We only have good things to say about our parents.

    Anyway, sorry to hear about the life you are going through. Hope things will get better.

    I hear you dnaslam. Having abusive parents is a very unfortunate situation. The worst is when you are very young [like 8 or 9] and your parents constantly scream, cuss, beat you, and then throw you out of the house until late at night for just responding to them in a mildly flippant manner, spilling some milk on the floor, or getting a math problem wrong. When you’re that young, you have no idea how to deal with that. All you know is that it is the worst feeling you could ever imagine. You feel overwhelmingly hurt, depressed, scared, helpless, and guilty; all you want is for that feeling to go away. Sometimes all you want is to die.

    Well I hope you take care and find some way to reconcile what your parents did to you, dnaslam. Peace…
