I didn't say Yao would not reach SHAWN BRADLEY'S toughness for a long time, I said SHawn Bradley already does the things that you say that Yao does. I also said at least Shawn Bradley has elbowed people and gotten into fights.

I guess the difference between me and a lot of posters on this is that i'm not AFRAID to read about other people's opinions, whether or not they agree or disagree with my own. Ignore me all you like, it just goes to show that you don't belong on an internet messageboard where heaven forbid, someone might disgree with you. Bottom line is, YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! If you had anything intelligent to add to the discussion, you would'nt be running away from it.

I read this thread many times, but unfotunately I couldn't understand it.

Why is YAO hurting Chinese Draft stock?

Different players have different playing styles. Right now, three Chinese players (All of them play as C) are in NBA. The other young guy Mr. Xue was picked by Denver (through MAVs) this summer. Did SilenceFan not know this fact?

I have noticed that some NBA hunters went to China to explore young players when Chinese CBA all-star game was held last month.

All these hurt Chinese Draft stock?

Re-read my posts. I said by "hurting" does'nt mean they will stop recruiting chinese players, but that they will second-guess a player's toughness and mental readiness whereas if Yao was putting up 20/10 every night they probably wouldn't. Read between the lines for goodness sakes or at least read the previous posts before posting the same point that has already been addressed.

In fact, you should re-read your own post. Sure we can all have disagree with the prospect of Yao Ming or his abilities, but don't you see there are so many posters here are offended by your remark of being ashamed of an asian because of Yao Ming. Please enlighten me, what exactly did Ming do to hurt Asian image, what exact manner did Ming have to make you ashamed of being an Asian? You know what, your extreme volatile and irrational judgement is hurting Asian image. When one is up to adore him as God, when one is down to step on him again, that kind of behaviour from a so-called fan hurt fans image. One thing, you have to be clear, Yao Ming plays in NBA is NOT for you to look good, is NOT to help you with your fragile confidence or pride. I am quite certain, Yao Ming appreciates if he doesn't have fans like yourself.

This is an inaccurate assumption of the Chinese basketball league. They do have a dunk contest during their all-star break in China. I don't know who started this assumption that they do not recommend dunking in China.

So your telling me that if yao avgs 4 more pts and 1 more rebound in the 32 min a game he plays that nba teams wouldn't second guess a chinese player's toughness and mental readiness.

Well then I guess eddie griffin really screwed it up for college stars who punch their teammates for not giving them the ball enough.

    RIDICULOUS
