I promise not to go really hard on NewYorker. I know he's bitter, angry and hurted now. I can't deny I really enjoy punking this pathetic liar and having a lot of fun though. :D

Good God, just leave the guy alone. Rookies like you are the reason why newer folks with actual insight into Rockets basketball find it difficult to get any respect. This board is extremely intolerant of rookies because for every one person that's actually capable of having intelligent discussions about basketball, there's 20 of you idiots posting like a bunch of pre-pubescent kids.

Oh and just so you know, it IS possible to read posts of people that're on your ignore list.

Agh, there's a thing called respond in kind.

Please enlighten me in which way NewYorker's veiled racist remarks and bigoted obsession with certain ethnic groups are anything intelligent and relevant to basketball on this particular forum, and why you should feel the need to tolerate that kind of behavior.

Losers brag about dunks and blocks even though the guy who was dunked on or blocked wins the game.

We don't have to help him look good, he's having a MVP season and his team won the game. If the best you can do is brag about a block in a game your team lost what does that tell you?

Shaq also doesn't get called for an offensive foul everytime he grazes a guy like Yao does. One freaking block and you guys act like it's the greatest thing in the world. This is the same media that called him the second coming of Shawn Bradley, so of course they're going to look for a reason to rip him every chance they get!

Veiled racist remarks and bigoted obsession? In this thread? If you somehow interpret his anti-YOFism as "bigotry" then you have some serious issues and a severe case of minority mentality.

From what I've read, he simply posted that he thought it was a clean block...and then proceeded to get attacked by a bunch of idiots.

For many other guys YOF may only mean YOF, but for NewYorker his frequent use of YOF after his veiled remarks got exposed is now an underhanded swipe at Chinese posters. The guy can not live one day without being a racist, simple as that. If you are into selective reading or too lazy to dig up his posts, please let me know and I'll be glad to help you out.

It's a fair game that others are on now his tail. NewYorker brought the mess into GARM and he is trying to get away.

Severe case of minority mentality, what are you talking about? LOL

Hate to break it to you, and I don't mean to be disrespectful to any other posters of Indian descent, if you look at NewYorker's posts from a jealous low-life Chinese-hating Indian's point of view, everything starts to make sense. There is a reason he tried desperately to conceal his own ethnic background when he pretended to "engage in thoughtful and provocative discussion with Chinese posters" in D&D.

You are certainly entitled to your own opinion. But to be frank, I find your picking on rookies who are ripping NewYorker a bit hypocritical in itself.

This has to stop. What you are doing is actually quite harassing. I do not understand why you think I am a racist or bigot and nor do I care to defend myself against such ridiculous charges.

At this point, I ask the moderators to get involved and please put this to a stop - it's been going on for months and frankly it's taking away from my pleasure from using the board and from other people's as well. You are single-handidly ruining this experience. This is about Rockets basketball, not your personal issues with me.

You are entitled to think I am a racist, and you have said that plenty of times...now will you please stop this obsession with me?

This goes for the others who have been posting as well. This is no longer amusing.

What happened to your ignore list? So you did peek into my post after all ... lol ... what a surprise

Yeah I know who you are and what you are, but I didn't mind exchanging posts with you if you left all your racist BS in that moral cesspool called D&D. In fact I replied to your post just fine a week ago a little before the Rockets-Pistons game. It wasn't until you start to pull the anti-Chinese race card in a JVG thread on that same night did I get on you. No, this has not been going on for months. Don't exaggerate and mislead. (hell what can people expect from you, huh)

For crying out loud, people complaint about JVG for various reasons. The dislikes on JVG's coaching philosophy and player management transcends racial/ethnic background, political spectrum, and religious practices. If I am not mistaken, Van Gundier is of Chinese descent and he is one of the most vocal supporters of JVG, OTOH, R0kets03 is an Indian descent and he was one of the most visible JVG critics last season, not to mention edc, terse and many other posters who have little in common with Chinese as far as their ethnicities are concerned. Posters who have vested interest in seeing VSpan play have their share of reason to rip JVG. The discussion on JVG is not even remotely racially motivated, let alone specific to one particular ethnic group.

Your bigoted obsession with Chinese didn't stop there. You continued to bring about Chinese this and Chinese that in various other threads and posts as if Chinese are staging a conspirated takeover of NBA and ClutchFans. I have called on Clutch and other mods to ban posters like you who comes to GARM with an ulterior racial motive and dwells on stirring tensions among various factions of posters. If you think you are getting free ride for racial flame-baiting posts, you can't be more mistaken. Don't test Clutch's resolve, I tell you NewYorker.

i think if you do not like the way newyorker posts (there are many I am sure), then just put him on ignore, like me. Then when he tries to bait people, noone will see it because he's on everyones ignore. Maybe then he'll STFU about all that crap and realize he's just talking to himself. If you give him attention, it's only making it worse, especially when you quote the guy for everyone to see. I fully expect to see this thread closed, and hopefully end this back and forth debate in every newyorker thread. Chances are, like you said, he'll click view post because he put you on ignore, then try to reply to you. It's just going to keep on going forever.

p.s block on yao was clean but nate did hit him after the block. it doesn't really matter because only idiots (i.e ****-spn and others) will dwell on something that has no bearing or insight on anything except for the fact that nate can jump. But even a blind person knows that.

I've never seen a post from NewYorker that even begins to disparage anyone of Chinese descent because of their ethnicity.

Granted I don't visit the D&D much, but if he had mentioned anything overtly anti-Chinese there, I'm sure that topic would've been 100+ pages long and I would've checked it out.

By all means...feel free to shut me up with some example "racist" posts if you want. However, if you're simply interpreting his anti-YOFism as racially motivated, then you have issues. There are plenty of other posters around here are even more critical of YOFs. Are they all racist as well?

You have definitely not read this board enough if you still do not know much about him. It may be difficult to find a 100-pages long thread (how many 100 pages long threads are there anyway?) but there are a number of 10 pages long thread that you can research on if you have time. I think someone even put the links to a few of those threads in his sig.

Anyway, I want to apologize for the nuisance on here for the last few days because I am also involved in it. I am sure if NewYorker will start bahave himself, I will also talk strictly about basketball in my posts from now on.
