I never said Yao does a good job of protecting the ball, he obviously hasn't been consistent at it at all. But at the same time when someone slaps down on your arms, that's a foul. Whereas on the other side, he has no chance of playing with that kind of contact on the defense without getting fouls called on him. Chandler is not exactly a small guy, so this goliath rule is bull****. Chandler, Shaq, Dhoward are all freaklishly tall, yet when they play Yao, the refs have treat Yao as if his the only big guy playing out there. There is an obvious bias against Yao that the centers of the past did not deal with, at least not close to that magnitude.
