about half way throught the first qtr. yao should have picked up his second foul in a matter of 10 seconds. it was a no brainer the ref a had a clear view and gave it to scola instead. i think it has to do with Yao speaking his frustration a couple of weeks ago what do you guys think i live out of state so i dont get all the games.

Don't mistake bad refereeing for respect.

It just goes to prove that they have no clue what a foul is and who is fouling.

If that happens 5 times in a game and 50 games in a row, yes I guess you are right.

it seemed fairly obvious to me that the ref who made that call on Scola did not agree with the offensive foul that Yao picked up seconds earlier.

This is it right there. The player was fouled, but the ref that had the call knew that a bad call was made on the other end and what a 2nd foul on Yao would mean. So he made sure that the bad call did not have an adverse effect on the game and gave the foul to Scola who DID have a little contact with the shooter.

wish you are kidding:eek:  you overcounted 5 times more than the real number. ;)
Secondly Stern don't care and don't know what people on the other side of earth is saying. We fans in Cina all hate refs calling the bs fouls on Rockets (mostly on Yao) and acting blind to the other team's dirty defense, but seriously there is nothing much we can do as long as the refs don't cross the line. Anyway Playoff is coming and let's see what's gonna happen...

so it took yao 7 years to finally get officiated somewhat fairly? doesn't really add up there. stern is scared of nobody. no one can screw around with his product. he has a despotic rule over the entire basketball market.

Nah, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that 1 in every 2 people is Chinese. That would mean Earth has like 18 billion people.....it was in a book, so it's gotta be right.
