Some of you missed the point of the article. Here are what get me excited:

    1. Yao can get really pissed.
    2. Yao likes to dunk when he is pissed.
    3. Yao feels great dunking.
    4. Yao is still the class act after dominating opponenents.

For NBA Centers in this season: Be afraid. Be really afraid...

HAHAHA, this is really funny. One of the fans left a note on the guestbook:

Yao, you dunked so many times. Do you have very high sex drive ?

how cool is it for a huge chinese dude to come in and start taking names in the NBA? if he really does become as dominant as we hope, we will have witnessed the official end of u.s. basketball dominance.

Unless there are another 20 Yao's down the pipeline, calm down.

as he wipes the foam from his mouth, he replies:

i think it is exciting seeing the nowitzki's and peja's etc. add global flavor to the game. there is a definate return to fundamental basketball and team play nowadays. i enjoy watching soccer because it is so important to so many people. i want to see bball get to this level of popularity. we live in the u.s. but we also live on a planet ya' know.

At first I didn't understand what you meant, personally, I like all the international players, and I agree its a good thing for basketball.

    Return to FUNDAMENTAL OFFENSE MAYBE
their DEFENSE is a little lacking

[I love watching a hard block as much as a hard dunk]

    Rocket River
Best play of the 94-95 finals
was watching Horace Grant go for a break away dunk
and getting STUFF from behind by Robert Horry
I screamed D*YAM THAT WAS NASTY!!!
THAT DAY . . I BECAME A BIG BOB HORRY FAN
    and have not stopped

    The word is out !

It took me a few minutes but I suddenly see what this fan is trying to say on the guestbook.

    :D

    Translated:

"Yao, you are really funny. Every time you become angry you yelled "fvck !" It's heard during every match. Is your sex drive very high ?"

    Then came Yao's reply:

    Translated:

"Later on I found out microphone is strapped onto the back board, whatever I yelled is heard on the National Television!!"

See, I wonder if he was yelling in English or Chinese?

    :p

dude got pushed around and clawed at almost every single game last year and only occasionally showed a mean streak to fight back. if he's got the mindset now to not take crap from anybody anymore like the japan game then we're in for a great year.

    Word!!!!

Not that he should forget his teammates or neglect his great passing skills and shooting touch, but don't lose the mean streak. Find that happy medium, kinda like Dream when they handed Big Dave the MVP trophy in '95 and Olajuwon peacefully, quietly, yet ferociously commenced to wax that a$$.

only took him 10 years in the league to develop that shot. and even still cant be taken outside of 6 foot from the basket. he couldnt make a 15 foot shot if his life depended on it.

are you seriously insinuating that you'd want the nba's strongest man shooting from 15 feet out?

Maybe we should take back his nickname Dynasty and just go with Yaozilla. And when the home crowd starts going into a loud chant "Yaozilla!Yaozilla!", he just goes nuts and starts dunking on everybody. :D
