    China can still make some adjustments in the next two weeks to reduce the TOs. Argentina players, especially their guards, have very quick hands.

    Okay... those of you whining about turnovers need to stop. Sheesh. Just like the Chinese media you're scrutinizing everything. Sure it would be great if Yao could stop turning it over.

    But if you're the only player on your team that needs to be guarded... and the other team is doubling or tripling you without having to care about other guys on your team. Would you NOT turn it over a bit too?

    anyway... the guards seriously need some NBA exposure. maybe China should pay the Sacto Kings to have Liu Wei stick with them for a year or so. Or maybe they just need to develop their prospects well.

    Seems like it's coming around though. That's always the logical progression of international hoops. First the big men break through, then the swing men break through, then slowly the guards break through (look at Yugoslavia). It's easy to have talent but guards is all skill, that needs highly developed leagues and training systems.

    The thing that bothers me is that the Chinese guards keep launching 3s when they are hitting only 5-21 for 24% treys. On the other hand, they are connecting 67% on 2 pointers and Yao only had 6 field goal attempts (made 5). IF JVG were the coach, he would have traded away (or kicked off) these guards of the team in a splitting second.

    CNT is probably trying different strategies. They didn't shoot so many 3s
    the last couple of games. After all, it's only a preparation game.
