LMAO English is my second language so let me get it right... At best, Mao is criminally negligent in the deaths of tens of millions and at worst he's a mass murdering Communist the likes the world has never seen. Let's see... Criminally negligent homicide is just a legal term. It's still an unlawful killing which is how murder is defined. Mass murderer is not a legal term so its only quantitation is the number of people killed whether it's in the first degree or by criminally negligent homicide. So your "at best" scenario changes nothing. I'm glad I could educate you on the intricacies of these complex terms. Let's follow the series of events that has led to this point. China builds this mammoth square. China puts a mural of, an at best criminally negligent homicider of tens of millions and at worst the biggest mass murderer of the 20th century, at the entrance of this mammoth square so that obviously everyone entering and leaving the square must cross under the mural and cannot avoid seeing the mural. The Chinese goverment routes the Olympic torch through this mammoth square with the entry adorned with the aforementioned gigantic mural. The Chinese government, with its state controlled media, then allows reporters to set up a photo op using the Olympic torch with Yao Ming right in front of the gigantic mural of Mao and naturally that's all the fault of the western propagandisers because they controlled everything the whole time. *Yawn...* There's a huge hypocrisy in all of the Chinese posters here that went ape over the protests of the torch/Tibet in the lead up to the Olympics on the basis that this was a non-political event and then not condemning that sickening photo. I'm going to put you on ignore now because your constant name calling, internet tough guy posts are just a real of waste of time for me. Have fun.
Once again, since you are too stupid to know better, I'll give you a hand. Here is a definition of the word "murder" http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/murder Main Entry: 1mur·der Pronunciation: \ˈmər-dər\ Function: noun 1: the crime of unlawfully killing a person especially with malice aforethought 2 a: something very difficult or dangerous <the traffic was murder> b: something outrageous or blameworthy <getting away with murder> Malice aforethought, hmmmmm. Since your English skill suck so much, I'll help you once again. Synonoms of aforethought include "premeditated" and "delibrate." Since the resulting starvation from Mao's policies were neither premeditated nor delibrate or carried out with malice, he is by definition, not a mass murderer. In fact, by definition, it wouldn't make him a murderer of any kind. And you thought it only had to do with numbers. The fact that you used a word that you don't know to describe a country/person/history that you know nothing about not only makes you an idiot, but also an illiterate. Yawn indeed. I guess you didn't bother the check the facts before you talked out of your ass. Tiananmen Squre was built during the Qing Dynasty. If you're trying to hang it on the CCP, you're wee bit too late. And the mural part is even funnier. As WNBA already pointe out, a AP reporter took the photo. Know what the funny thing is? Even for Yao, with the height of Tiananmen, at the location in which Yao is standing, a man would have to stoop pretty low (or have a really wide angle camera) in order to get both Yao's head and Mao's mural in the picture. And look, it seems that he barely squeezed it in too. And boy, who in their right mind would go through Tiananmen Squre. I mean, other than the Forbidden City, Zhengyang Gate, Zhongshan Park formerly Sheji Tan (I believe they translated to the Alter to the Gods of Grain and Lands, built in the Ming Dynasty), National Centre for the Performing Arts, History Museum, Central Axis of Beijing, Olympic Grounds. Nope I can't imagine why anybody would want to go through Tiananmen Square. There is no hypocrisy among the Chinese posters at all. Morons like you and the reporter at AP tried to make an issue out of a non-issue. That's all there is to it. But please, don't let facts get in the way of your bullsh1t. I don't waste my time acting tough on the internet. I waste my time calling a moron a moron. Still a waste of time, but there is a fundamental difference between the two.
