Look at Elton's games from 11/13 to 12/13, and you'll see what I mean: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?statsId=3324
First big test for Yao would be this Friday against Denver. They just beat Detroit on Wednesday! They outrebound Detroit: 59:35. And Camby: 20rb, 5blk!
In that 15 game stretch, he had a game with 20+ pts and 9 reb and another with 10+ reb and 19 pts, and a 20/10 game in between those two.
Yao is a joy to watch. I'm tuning in just to watch the new Yao. If he keeps this up and the Rockets don't make the playoffs, I will feel satisfied after the season knowing that Yao has arrived. And of course I want the roster to be revamped around the new Yao over the summer. Shooters, shooters, and more shooters. If JVG is not hip to that, he can be replaced.
