Hey Tim, Why are the Rockets "Leaking" more stuff than they are presenting...I mean wouldn't it be exciting and create buzz to have a little event in Downtown or anywhere and show the new logo and Uniforms like the Texans did...I just think that it would really create a terrific scene for the fans of the team and also let the organization shine....Just a question from a Marketing Major at The University of Texas Cheers
We will have a big event downtown -- we just can't have it until we have actual, physical samples of the uniform (no use having a big event just to show a picture), and we don't have the final uniforms in yet. As for the Yao billboard and Photoshop -- come on, you guys don't think the Photoshop masters only live at cc.net, do you? That was actually done by our dear departed graphics designer, the position we're interviewing for right now. As for Smeg's question -- some teams do give a price break for season ticket holders, but I believe those teams were in the minority. Business trends are shifting in this area, though. Tim
good start Tim, but still very much wow for me, as it something that is standard in australia for as long as I (and my parents) can remember
There is a billboard on 249 just north of Willowbrook mall facing north. For thos who haven't seen it yet, it is EXACTLY like the one in the paper, except the uniform is white and the stripes are red. Doesn't show anything more, really.
that would be funny if the rockets org. leeked all these FAKE pics so that when they showed the real jerseys, the only part that was correct was the top half of the jerseys.
I understand that the priority have to give to the season ticket buyer first. However, what is the chance of an out-of town fan like me to get a ticket to the opening game? Zero? I am very sad since I will be in Houston on that day and want to go to the game. However, I cannot buy even a mini plan since I does not live in Houston and will have the chance to go to Houston only twice this year.
Odd how I posted this last week, and then 3-4 threads were created for this one picture and I posted it here to save server space.
looks like just a modfied jerseys from last season and was changed enough so the NBA wont sue them for copyrights.
next thing u know, the ball is blocked, and Lebron is sent to floor crying he should have gone to college instead
