I can read, and I can track stats, thank you... your count of 20-10 is without Yao... not without both Tmac and Yao... AFTER Yao went out in the Clippers game in on December 23, and before he entered the Cleveland game on March 5th, the Rockets played 32 games, and went 20-12 without Yao Ming in the lineup... which is all I said originally in my first post... i'm not mad at all... i just appreciate accurate info
I don't know if someone already pointed this out, but over the past two seasons, we're 49-17 when T-Mac and Yao play the whole game together. That is including several games where one or both players were playing on an injury, and/or other starters were missing... Very nice, to say the least. Let's hope it translates to playoff success. None of our potential playoff opponents scare me more than Rafer's play... He plays at LEAST as small of a role in NY as he would here, and he hasn't complained at all... In fact in Houston, he would actually be playing at a position where we NEED his help, and he would be playing for a good team. Something tells me he'd happily take that job over the one he has now... Besides that, Steve has been a lightning rod for criticism due to his style of play in his first few years. He doesn't have that kind of an ego.
As it still stands now, Mcgrady and Yao combined taking off almost a third of the season, would have the Rockets finishing with the BEST record in the East this year
