we're the 5th seed, our regular season is over for all intents and purposes. we don't play a game that matters for another 2 weeks, so yao and tmac may as well rest and get healthy any time they need to.
DD, is Yao also sitting out because he's in the doghouse for lack of effort? Or is there some respect of persons going on here? Furthermore, I see what assistant coach gundy meant when he said he was really thinking about letting Bonzi play.
I would run Bonzi ragged for the rest of the season. Throw in a lil T-Mac and Yao, but we need to give Bonzi major minutes and get him into game shape for these playoffs. Excellent coaching move by JVG yet again
There's a lot of dumb people on this board then I had thought. To put it simple for you guys with no sarcastic remarks, JVG is resting his star player with basically nothing to play for. Did you expect JVG to just say out in public, "ohh, i'm resting my star players and see what our benches can do"? That's as dumb as coaches admitting they're tanking games for durant/oden. Of course the Rockets are gonna make up some stuff to make it less obvious.
I think mostly everyone knew that. However all this means is they will be playing heavy minutes in the playoffs.
Well, we've clinched the playoffs. All I care about is their health in the post season, we aren't getting home court anyways.
Damn you! Could you pick Mason and Jazz players from now on? Oh, don't forget about Suns and Mavs too.
Bonzi is doing well. 0-4 in 8 minutes with 0 reb., 0 assist, 0 steal, 0 blocks, and 3 TO. LOL, I love him.
I'm sure Yao's back is just a bit bruised up and stuff, but it's frustrating the Rocket's never fully reveal details of the player's injury and stuff. Everything is so vague and secretive.
