Yao and TMAC - 20 20 Club

    Thanks for finding the numbers. It certainly confirmed my suspicion, upon reading RR's statement, that Ewing and Houston both had high scoring seasons for JVG.

    I'm of the opinion that T-Mac will get 20+ ppg no matter what. He is a scorer and will get his touches. With Yao, I'm less certain. He does look to pass often, and we do have improved outside shooting with Howard/Lue/Ward. If teams continue to pack it in every game, Yao would have a hard time cracking 20.

    Heck, I'm waiting for the first game in which four Rockets score 20 points. :D

    It could happen. T-Mac is almost automatic for 20, so there's one guy. Now imagine Yao being double-teamed all game, so he doesn't take many shots but still gets his 20 because the referees notice that he's getting hacked. Because the other team is busy stifling Yao, Juwan and JJ will have plenty of open looks, so they also get 20. There you go.

    When was the last time this (4 x 20) happened in a Rockets game?
