Is this the resurgance of the YOF? People were playing it down, but now with Yao's play up a notch, these same people are proudly YOF.
When I first read DD's post, I had no idea where this is coming from. I got even more confused as I read on. Then someone pointed out the date. Every player has his habbits. If it is too out of line, someone point it out. But maybe people just need to be a bit more tolerent. Yao still has a kind of expression if he missed an easy shot or a shot in clutch time. It means he cares about games, and he holds himself accountable. Maybe someone should just tell him: "it is not your fault to miss that shot, it is rafer's"
Guys, I wrote this in 2004..... I am laughing my ass off at all of this stuff. Now, I look at Yao's clap as a "Damnit, I am gonna dunk on that guy next time !" Yao has clearly got it, but back in 2004, he was still searching for it. Now, if Tmac's back will cooperate.... DD

Well said, jscmedia! I really don't get it why Yao's little clap annoyed those guys so much that they actually considered it as an indicator of his soft mentality and even feminity! C'mon, it's just a petty action. Everyboday got his petty action, right?! You guys really what to read sth out of it? Ok, let me tell you what we Chinese get from that: it's just a indicator of regret and self-encouragement. He regrets and then encourages himself to learn from that to improve! That's the attitude we Chinese value! Won't be surprising, if you dont understand what I'm saying, because of cultural differences. But you may nevertheless get this: I really don't like Shaq's fat lips, but that doesn't hinder me to enjoy his games! BTW, you know what that "awww shucks" sound means in Chinese? It's sth dirty!!!
