What other player came back from breaking the bone below his knee, and can return and play as well as Yao has? Throughout his recovery and return, Yao was PRAISED and APPLAUDED for his amazing come back. In the NBA, you don't find players who break their leg, and come back that quickly, and you certainly don't find them playing that well as Yao did. That Yao who played poorly in the Utah Series still managed to average 25/10. That Yao did not play Okur as well, JVG stated that even Duncan himself was manhandled by Okur, and said, don't feel bad Yao; even Duncan had trouble. The Utah Jazz is a very physical team. They will punish you and the sad fact is, they got away with it. The referees didn't officiate or do their job. This is the major problem I have with David Stern and the NBA. The officiating is a joke. And I am so sick and tired of tards like you. You are borderline trollish.
yao fan 2007 is obviously pulling everyone's leg with actions above and beyond the call of YOF-ness at this point. Not just in this thread but in his relentless Sun Yue pimping, and his campaign to add Wang ZhiZhi due to his performance on Xbox360. YF2007 I salute you.
typical wnes, another frustrated YOF who never met a grudge he couldn't let go of. What are you mad about this time? Eh well, never mind, not important. by my quick calculations, Yao_Fan_2007 is going on a 95% or greater yao-post ratio. That's got to be some sort of record even for this BBS. Maybe he wasn't loving on sun yue - to be honest sometimes it's hard to keep all you YOF's differentiated sometimes, you sort of blend together in a homogenous mass. Well, at least he is honest.
Poor SamFisher, I always thought you as a Sushi-eating fellow traveler know a thing or two about the exquisite difference between one Chinaman and another.

I am just having fun with this thread..and would like to see Yao hit 33% from the 3...but just as an occasional thing......can't speak for anyone else. Uh huh and how is that different from Rafer jacking up shots and missing while not letting V-span have a shot penetrating? Basketball IQ? Hmmpff!! If you do the same thing over and over and over again..guess what. They figure it out and stop you.
rafer shot 37% from 3...that is above average for the nba...vmac has no chance of penetrating because he cant shoot...he also struggled to finish...hes not a creative finisher like parker...you have so over rated him its laughable...as far as mixing it up...what exactly will that do for yao shooting 3's? i know one thing, it will make the other coach breathe easier thats for sure.
I agree. "i know one thing, it will make the other coach breathe easier thats for sure." All right. Last year our opponents defend only 4 player. Do you want that same nex year. Can you really see Yao shootin' 3s? Cause I can't. I don't think VMac cannot finish. I saw some of his actions last season and he can drive and finish i think. But of course he cannot shoot better than Skip, that's for sure. Mike James can...
Denniscd= SamFisher All I know is that Yao has range and he is good close in. If Yao is wide open at the 3 on the break I say shoot it. If Yao is wide open at the top of the ky in a motion offense, I say shoot it. If Yao is on the block then he needs to post up and dunk it.
duncan struggled really in just one game. here are his stats: 22 and 10. but MORE IMPORTANTLY 57% SHOOTING. how the hell is 57% shooting v. utah "struggling"? yao shot 44% v. single coverage primarily. now REALLY, 57% to 44%? i know some of you yao fans want to defend yao, but cmon? we all said tmac sucked. why not say yao sucked in that series too?
i never said yao's injuries were nagging. i'm just saying no athlete goes into the playoffs 100%. and i asked you, what % do u think yao was at? b/c b4 the playoffs started, everyone said he was close to his pre-injury form. he was putting up big #s as we winded down the reg. season. so i ask u again, what % was he?
22 and 10 on 57% shooting v. okur/jazz. 57% shooting. 57% shooting. do u know what 57% shooting is? dude, okur manhandled dunca??? u have got to be kiddng me.
