Yes, but Minny won't. Wes is gonna wind up their big guard along with Beasley at the 3 and Love at the 4.
Pretty sure the Rockets don't have anything that would convince Minny to part with Rubio... Not that I'd want him, anyway. Sorry, I'm just not that impressed by the fact that he caught team USA off guard in one Olympic game.
I Picked up West in my fantasy league and was very dissapointed. He's starting on the Twolves dammit! But he might end up elite by his 3rd year.
They are dnagling Brooks light in hopes they get the real Brooks? Johnny Flynn is point guard, is the same size as Brooks, not even Brooks light, and they expect us not to slap them for even asking? Man Daryl must be real horrible. I mean horible if these are the offers they are giving him. Its like they dont even respect him? Is he good? I mean what kind of GM thinks they could honestly dangle a no name Johnny Flyn and get a 20 points a night to 16 points a night player? This is rediculous. I want a new GM if Morey isnt getting enough respect around the league to even recieve real offers. Its almost insulting how much he gets dissed with some of these offers.
Please tell me you're being sarcastic. And do you know anything about Minny's GM? He's the worst in the league, so offers like this are probably the norm for him.
Kahn would laugh hysterically at that proposition. Why would Minny throw the 4th overall pick from the '10 draft in to the package? They're building for the future, and have a tremendous core in Beasley, Love, Johnson, and Rubio (Flynn's expendable based on the emergence of Ridnour, and the inevitable arrival of Ricky).
Don't you know? Rockets have to rape every deal and Kahn is apparantely an idiot that has no clue whatsoever about running a team. /sarcasm
Wizards made an inquiry to Clippers on Blake Griffin, dangling Andray Blatche, league sources told me. Conversation went nowhere.
Interesting. I tend to agree with those suggesting this was likely one side or the other leaking this "rumor" to pump up one of their player's value. All the same, I'd be willing to listen if Kahn did indeed make a serious offer. I liked Flynn a lot in college, thought he had a decent rookie year and, well, this year has been a disaster. Clearly, the salaries don't match and Brooks has more value (even despite his impending FA) so there has to be more involved. You'll just have to grab me when the more involved part materializes.
Personally, I think getting Flynn seem like a good deal. Brooks may not be worth what he'll ask for in the offseason, and flipping him for Flynn will basically turn the FA clock back a couple of years. Of course, I don't have nearly the data on Flynn as Morey does, so he may have seen things I don't.
