I know it is flat out stupid. The guy was playing great before being injured. People have no concept of what Morey is doing, it is a long term play, he doesn't look at short term production, he looks at long term. AB proved it over an entire season.....just as Kyle is struggling now after being incredible for 20 games.....Morey knew as did any intelligent basketball fan that the law of averages would catch up, same as Chase, he is too good of a shooter to abandon. This is like KNEE JERK central around here without much thought or understanding about players strenghts and a longer term look at things. Mind numbingly stupid. DD
I am sorry, but in this site there some people straight up pathetic, they feel the need to call Flynn a garbage player compared to AB, but then they say they what Love for AB hahahaha Let me explain, if you think Flynn compared to AB is garbage, AB compared to Love is 1000000000000000x more garbage. We all know that Flynn was drafted 4 picks ahead, he should have been a 8th to 12th pick, but saying he is garbage is straight up lying to yourself. I will not go deep on this subject, because this information is DM talking. Just ask yourself, why would a team that "supposedly" has the guarantee that Rubio will come next year, would want AB??? AB is an expiring, if the trade was purely Flynn for AB, and they were 100% sure that Rubio would come next year (like some reports have said), then this trade would be Flynn for nothing, because they will not match the 8M offer the Kings will make for AB next year. This is DM opening trade negotiations with the T.Wolves....... GL on that Kahn PeAcE
Great rookie season? Flynn's WS last year was 0.1. Brooks' was 5.5. Flynn's offensive efficiency was 97, while Brooks' was 108. I could go on here, but there's no point. Flynn is still very young, but there's a reason the Wolves are shopping him, and there's a reason the Rockets had no interest.
Woj said that the Wolves initiated the conversation and I rarely doubt his sources. I don't understand this from the Minny perspective much, I get that Flynn is struggling but why trade for another player (who is also struggling) that doesn't fit the triangle?
We better see if Rubio wants to play here. All we would be trading for is his rights. The "rights" to Rubio are not more productive than the "rights" to Michael Jordan or the "rights" to Brian Cook. If he never plays an NBA game it doesn't matter.
Ok I've watched Flynn since highschool, what he does on the court is incredible if they said lowry instead then maybe. Flynn may end up being the best out of all three though. Brooks just has to many good tools to let go that would be kinda dumb. Brooks was the MIP and the year before that killed LA, you just can't let him go..
If you took two PGs in the top 6 and then the next year you are looking to trade for a GM, Im sorry but you are a failure of a GM. And we have heard two sources now: 1.) Rockets assure Brooks he is in their long term plans. 2.) Rockets turn down trade for Brooks. And we still think the Rockets are looking to move him? Give me a break. Morey doesnt sell low, he sells high. If anyone is going to get moved, its probably Lowry or Scola.
Flynn is worse than Brooks. We all like say Brooks is bad, but Flynn is ranked 380th for defense in PPP. Brooks is struggling now. When Brooks returns to his old form, he will be fine. Flynn is struggling now, but Flynn's whole career has been a struggle.
Just like everyone else. Some or most posters dont understand this. Every gm inquire about different players every day. Most of the time, they go nowhere.
LMAO...Rubio has become the most over hyped in the history of clutchfans. No shot, no athleticism, and not enough quickness. Trading for him would get us absolutley nowhere
