I predict Maggette goes to Phily or GS for over 7 mil year before the offseason is done (once all the RFA chasing has gone nowhere). That is a good price for those teams, gets those team in better playoff drive position, and too much for Maggette to leave on the table.

Our General Manager Wizard Morey should not be concentrating on players 9-15 (Bench Role Players) but needs to be concentrating on players to play in our starting five. ( talented players who can create their own shot and in the case of the off guard we need, he should be a great scorer)
We already have depth of decent players we need a third scorer and a Playmaking Point Guard. :p
If we are going to be able to lead the Western Conference against Boston next season we need talent!! :p

They will be good, but I dont think Maggette will make that big of a difference. He will help, but he is not a winner. A steal though for the MLE

Morey would be an idiot to waste 1 minute of his time on a 28 year old athletic freak in his prime in an off year where there aren't many talented free agents and trying to sign him to a MLE.

Sure, he'll take the MLE, that plus 10 million more per year! Let the Spurs waste their time being convinced he wants to give up around 50 million dollars to play for them while we go after the real MLE players. ;)

I ask again, if he's so serious about winning, why doesn't he go straight to the champs and take their MLE? Rather than a team in the West who haven't won back to back Championships for 1 reason in being that the West is so tough. Boston would only play 1 real tough playoff round and the in the finals.
