Spurs picking 7th and Rockets 8th would severely piss me off.

Yeah I just read somewhere that they seem to be interested in Valanciunas or Biyombo.

Our in state rivals piss me off to the extreme. I hope they aren't targeting the same player.

The Spurs are never gonna have a less-than-50 win season.

no way the spurs would give away their PG to their rival in the same conference.

Man it's so easy for the Lakers and Spurs to get a top 10 pick and reload, just dump a declining star on some poorly run team.

The Spurs/Lakers might be able to rebuild instantly while we await Morey's five year plan.

every year around trade times I see this sentiment thrown out over adn over and over. why are so many people caught up on this way of thinking.

If there is a quote from any nba GM ever saying he would take less in a trade for this reason I would love to see it.

only a dumb *uck GM would take less in a trade just to keep a guy out of his division or conference.

    All theoretical here, but:

If spurs can get the #2 pick in a three way deal that sends TP to LA

    OR

Spurs could just trade TP to CLE or TOR for the 4th or 5th pick you are telling me the spurs GM isn't taking the #2 pick because he doesn't want to play Tony Parker 1 maybe 2 extra times a season?

that is why i am constantly advocating for us to trade scola and martin while they can get us a lottery pick. but I guess we'll just have to keep them to in our trade package offers for the next carmelo anthony that shakes loose. keyword: OFFER.

Would have been the same way for us had Yao and Tmac not broke down in the middle of their primes.

They would be giving it away to Minny, so i dont think they'd care much. Besides, we're talking about tony parker here, not Lebron. What is there to be scared about? Besides him sleeping with Manu's wife...
