I think this rumor is ridiculous. I don't understand what Memphis would gain from trading Gay for a guy like Prince. Memphis is afraid to overpay Gay so they go and trade for another overpaid guy? It's not like they are looking to dump a bad contract, they have the lowest payroll in the league and the only bad contract is Zach Randolph. The only sensible trade is to trade Gay for a younger player/high draft pick. Of course this is Memphis we're talking about here.
