Yeah trading Dream at the end of his career, or others sure stopped players like Ariza signing with us. LOL - come on....there are no long term circumstances if the team has decided to move on from a malcontented former superstar. DD
Do you think Adelman played McGrady because Les and Morey wanted him showcased to up his trade value?
I can make a bet right now that Yao will be getting 15 to 20 mins in his 3rd game, even if he struggles. Bc that's how u bring a guy who has potential from injury. U expect struggles and bumps on the comeback.
If anybody thinks we are being classless take a look at what Tracy did to us last season. That's classless. Live with it, Tmac apologists, he's just getting the same medicine he gave to this franchise. I hope Tmac goes to Orlando since I hate Orlando and Orlando will automatically be 2nd round virgins.
Wonder why that is...the guy QUIT on the team last season, announced a surgery via the media without the team helping to decide, did not play defense, was UNWILLING for a couple of seasons to play the system the coach wanted, complains about playing time and was allegedly a cancer in the locker room last season. blows my mind how this is all Adelman's doing and has nothing to do with TMac
This is becoming very Annoying now. Idk what they are planning to do but don't keep the man hostage. Either play him or trade him. Don't make this a Marbury part 2
yea. It was a showcase. They showcased his knee is a-ok. That is all adelman wanted to do. And I'm sure there is increased interest. But right now teams ain't offering much until the trade deadline.
Pretty much how I feel although I do believe if McGrady had wowed them in his time on the floor there was a chance they would reconsider moving him. I think that they saw enough of him in practice to know he isn't going to help this team any time soon but he was well enough to compete in a game without a setback to his knee. Basically, he needed a miracle to get back in the team's good graces and he came up short.
If McGrady gets bought out, where do you expect him to go? LA? Orlando? Miami for more minutes? I have a feeling he goes to Cleveland because he has a great chance to start and contribute.
yea I admit tmac was wrong last yr and they don't care for him. They never intend to incorporate tmac back. And that's it. So let's move on. Tmac staying away from the team in Chicago while they trade him is a good thing.
This article is so ridiculous...'an executive said', '2 yahoo sources report', 'an NBA coach said'. I'm willing to bet Douchebagski just took a bunch of quotes from irrate fans on message boards to get the kind of response you see in this thread. Who's going to question him? You're just going to get people, like me, that call BS, and people that agree with him and his sources that'll say 'SEE! SEE! He knows what's up!!!" There's really no substance to this article just a bunch of emotion stirring crap. Ah, interwebs at its finest... I can't wait until we trade Tmac...he'll be able to play 30+ mins a night and people will finally be able to see why Adelman doesn't want to play him...it's about ability, not personality. These are professionals and this is a business, one that Adelman has been in for longer than a lot of posters on this board have been alive. He wants to win, and if he knew Tmac would be more useful to us out on the floor than on the bench he'd damn well be out there...he's not the same player he use to be...the old Tmac isn't coming through that door folks...
Amen....and the fact that his mouth is writing checks his butt can not cash anymore just exasporates the situation. You put up with mouthy superstars when they are helping once they lose that ability you jettison them...jiffy quick. DD
Well since mcgrady is so caleed finish I wonder how Yao would feel about the whole situation since he doesn't like when guys get traded
Larry Riley, GM for the Golden State Warriors sent this to all the other GMs in the league.
