This is the most undeserving comment i've ever seen.

That barkley deal had to be made. How many times did you want to see the sonics kick our a** in the playoffs before you realized we needed a power forward?

Couldn't it be that Utah finally had better role players that season to outlast us in the conference finals?

CD also was involved in Yaos development. CD has been with the Rockets for 27 years. That says something.

Do you think we're going to win with a hobbled TMac? Of course not.

Morey is well aware that Ariza and Landry are role players. Let's be honest, winning a championship is very difficult. You either have to be very lucky or, well, very lucky.

Luck isn't on our side at the moment. Luck won't be on our side in the 2010 summer because there won't be any superstar talent to be had for less that $10 million.

So, until lightning strikes for this Rockets organization, let us be damn proud that we have a GM and a coach who will be ready to surround the mega-talent that we might someday find with championship quality role players and an excellent system in which to play in.

The Tmac Era has made me appreciate the Olajuwon Era like 100x times more.
Not only the players but the fans too.

You see Kenny on TNT, he's so freaking loyal to all of his boys, Mario, Maxwell, Dream, Sam, Rudy T..etc. There's something to say about a team that's close like family, those are teams that win championships.

Kobe, last year took the Lakers to Vegas for some bounding. Looks like it works.
Its different when you play for each other vs playing for yourself.

    That's the difference.

I wouldve been gotten rid of the guy before the season started and i've said that many times before. To me it seems like the rockets want to be cautious because he may be their best option in the offseason yet they don't want him to play as much. It would benefit the rockets just as it benfitted the rockets when they put out the bs about landry. My problem with you DD and other is that yall act like the rockets aren't to blame for some of this. We have seen in recently that the guys are playing dirty if that a choice of words. I've read where you called the landry incident good business. Thats bs and you know it, but you like others are scared to call it like it is. There also have been times when you have b****ed and moaned about how tracy is faking and he's a wuss. Evereytime he gets hit he acts as if he's been shot or some other stuff, yet in this situation its different. I've been consistent and i don't waver. I call a duck a duck and i don't rile up the lynch mob mentatlity on this board. If he's a cancer or he's in the iverson/marbury class as a person, how hrd is it to tell the guy to go home, we will call you when something comes up? The rockets are trying to have their cake and eat it too. If i were tracy and I'm not, I would keep the pressure on and become such a pain in the ass that they would either tell me to go home, trade me, or cut me. Now you can take those words and spin them into whatever is feasible, but tracy is wrong and managemnt is wrong also. 2 wrongs don't make it right and like you said, sometimes a divorce is good. If thats the case and the insurance is not paying anymore, cut the guy loose. Its already readily known the rockets are going to get anything from tracy other than a bloated contract. Wally S was a capable player last year and he wasn't moved as was raef and their contract couldve brouth back a player half the price of tracy. That means not gutting the team fit the guy under the cap.

There are no "IFs" in the Olajuwon era. Just championships and MVPs

because adelman said he planned to have mcgrady play 6-8 mins until christman and then decide what to do with him, and mcgrady did that. So when asked he said he wanted to play more mins just like any player would. Didnt mean he had to, but if he had a choice he would. But i dont get why adelman had to completely take him out of the lineup. He finally explains to everyone what he wanted to see, after sitting him.

really you think so, i would assume if mcgrady played for himself he would have led the league in scoring for a couple more years in houston. You dont go from avg 32 and 28 points a game down to 25 and 24 because you cared about yourself. Its funny because for a guy who is so selfish he sure is a great all around player.

There ya go again, calling someone scared just because they disagree with you.

I do think what they put out about Landry was good business. I don't see Landry complaining about it, do you?

I mean he got a better than Rookie scale contract in his 2nd year.....he made out like a bandit in the deal overall.......usually players are locked up for 3 years as a high 2nd round pick at a low cost....

Landry benefitted by the whole ordeal.

And please stop saying "Scared" it is innane...no one is scared of anything, we just don't agree on whether it was good business or not.

I think that it very well may come to that, but not until all avenues are exhausted for a trade.

I don't excuse the Rockets, but I also think they have been far the lessor evil in this situation....If Tracy would have been more professional and less of a whiny prima donna, I doubt we would be here now.....but we are, and I side with the team...as always.

Sometimes you make your own bed, and have to lay in it......That is where Tracy is today.

Understanding that he's fighting for the rest of his career, what I dont get with McGrady is...

He outright said live on camera he's not even supposed to be playing. So then if you're ahead of schedule and not supposed to be on the court, then every minute out there is pure bonus. Why complain about the bonus you normally would NOT have gotten?

Its like a kid wanting a Tshirt, jeans and sneakers for Christmas. He's extra good for the year and the parents get him the just T shirt in early in September instead of Christmas. Then the kid complains that he's only getting a T shirt why not get sneakers with it?! Its like you're ahead of schedule kid, dont force it.

Only because I also appreciate Dream, I'll just say, "OK, fine." He was hardly perfect...but I guess as close as you can get as far as a Rocket's fan is concerned.

leebigez, I understand your a big Tracy guy but he's being well compensated this season with that $23M going his way. The Rockets need to wait it out until after the trade deadline before thinking buyout.
