Oh, OK that makes sense. Well what teams would be destinations for Campbell? Detroit would probably come up in discussions again as would the Jets. What will be Washington's asking price as well? I hope they don't expect to get a first rounder even though that is what they spent on him.
I heard the Redskins were shopping him for a 2nd round pick, which means somebody will probably offer a 4th and they'll compromise on something like a 3rd and a future 5th.
Yeah. What is funny is what if this deal ultimately does not work out? Is Washington in the same boat as Denver where their starting quarterback is unhappy and no longer wants anything to do with the organization? I know Campbell is not a top-tier quarterback in this league but he is decent and the starter and I think teams would rather go into the season knowing who their guy is rather than play a guessing game.
Looks like hes going to the bears for a 1rst and 3rd this year and another 1rst next year, Orton seems like a throw in also. Quite steep for a player who hasnt done much.
Yeah, sorry, got a text saying Orton was in the deal and without thinking switched those up. The Broncos got a good haul here. I'm guessing the Redskins' presence really jacked the price up.
Man, big price, though Orton isn't really anything special. I doubt he beats out Chris Sims for the job in Denver.
