I this will end up being:

    Rocktes get $29.4M:
    Hughes
    Haywood
    Butler

    Knicks get $22.8M:
    TMac

    Wizards get $19.4M:
    Cook
    A. Harrington

When I said "No Way" I meant this trade scenario. We dont get another young guy, which is a reason we brought in Ariza. It just doesnt make sense, especially if we can give up a lot less.

that trade makes ZERO because the Wizards are trying the SHED salary not add a long term deal like Ariza's.

A young rookie would be the limit in terms of salary commitment. They might be back around the tax line if they take back Ariza.

Plus. Battier WILL get traded next season and Ariza will become the inevitable replacement.

They just signed the guy. No way, yeah no way, they're gonna trade him without even seeing him in the lineup with Yao and another piece. All the sudden he then becomes the 3rd, 4th, or 5th option. He ain't going anywhere soon, deal with it.

Well I went to bed, woke up and TMAC still here just a bunch of fluff by the gossip columns. Amazing how the key to trading McGrady will/are the Knicks, they really want this dude. To much smoke with Butler to not be some fire and DMorey said this morning he is catching a flight today??? Where is Dork Elvis going today or to speak to???

    Thank you.

As it's been said, 'casual sitting' is key to the context of what this really means. I'm eager to see if Clutch can work some of his magic and clarify things for us all.

Maybe they go with a warriors/rockets/knicks trade route and avoid the wizards all together....well at least that's what i'm hoping for...

We have to be thankful for the Knicks.

We clowned them for most of this season when they said they had interest in McGrady.

They must really like him because they are basically doing all our work for us.

Egotistical coaches like Mike D'Antoni think they can always get more out of the player than the last guy.

I can see Morey telling Walsh...

Donnie we can talk but you need to do all the work, let me copy it and i'll turn it into the teacher with my name on it and if I don't get an "A" then I WILL CRUSH YOU.

I just saw them show it on SportsCenter. Is it fair to say that this trade does have "legs"?

Man, I would love to give up Ariza. I don't think he will ever be what he is trying to be.
