Now I have no idea how strong Morey's prefence is, but if he really wants Biyombo or whoever it is CHA wants at 7, the only play would be to deal with Toronto, likely as a 2 step trade. 14 and 23 for 8. Then swap 8 and something else (Lee?) for 5.

 

I would start with Scola and 23 and see what happens.

 

Kevin Martin and the 14th pick for number 2 in the draft. Heck Kevin Martin and the 14th and 23rd pick for Derrick Williams.

 

charlotte wants tristan thompson which is why they traded to get ahead of detroit who wants the same guy. if the bobcats take tristan, the pistons have to decide if they would rather their second option (biyombo) or the 14th and 23rd picks.

my guess is they take biyombo then see who falls to the rockets at 14.
