He isn't going to get to play with anyone hes traded to.

He's purely walking, breathing, 2010 cap space at this stage.

And they never will. Let the TMac fans wollow in their ignorance. Most of them are young kids that really dont have a clue. SCREW TMAC and everyone that puts him in front of the team.

Goodbye Mr Overrated, all you ever accomplished was individual awards. For all the talent you HAD you never won anything meaningfull. You just werent good enough to put youre team over the top. You really should retire so you dont go out ala Steve Francis.

You're really attempting to tell me that trevor ariza is a better basketball player than tracy mcgrady? Seriously? Seriously?
Im basing that on what he did 2 years ago lol
On one leg/arm. Trevor ariza CANT DRIBBLE THE BASKETBALL!!! How can you expect anyone to have an impact that CANT DRIBBLE. Its sad. Lets see how far Chase and Trev get us then...period.

Just to clarify: Ending complete and incomplete sentences with "....period" does not make you an authority on anything nor does it make you look like you actually know more than the average fan on this board, m'kay?

"Tracy on one knee is better than Trevor...period"
If that was the case, his busted ass would be on the court already

    "Chase isn't the messiah...he's a rookie..period"
Thank you, Captain Obvious. Are there any other pearls of wisdom you'd like to bestow on me? No one has ever said Chase was the savior of this team and, if they said it, I'm pretty sure they were under the influence

"...we need a star, a focal point. People don't realize that?"
You still consider McGrady a star? How about you take off your blinders and realize that he's a shell of his former self no matter how "healthy" he feels right now.

2-Time Scoring Champion has left the building fellas.
13 in 35 is over folks.
Perennial All-Star days are long gone.

So what you're saying is that some team is going to trade for him and his huge contract just to keep him on the bench. That's laughable.

Yahoo Sports is the source; Wojnarowski is also the guy Tracy sent his "target date" message to.

The Pippen comparison is interesting. Pippen was a more valuable player in terms of his trade market value, and we spent years unloading or overpaying the guys we got for him.

There's a good chance that the best thing to do with McGrady, from a cold market standpoint, is let him rot, ride out the insurance, pay the remainder of his salary, and be done with him. No expenses beyond this year incurred. If he needs playing time in order to get a new contract, well, that's his problem, isn't it? And there's a simple way for him to get it: negotiate a buyout.

If so, why not do it early? I don't mind to wait for the contract expired. It just needs more patience.

McGrady on one leg last year 15ppg, 5 assist, 4.4 rebounds. Ariza on two legs last year 9ppg, 3.7 assist, and 4.3 rebounds.

How do you know whether McGrady is a shell of his former self if you haven't seen him play this year? At least wait until you see him play before making assumptions

What about Ariza on two legs THIS year? hahahah just going to forget that Ariza is playing this year right? hahahah this is too funny. I'd also like for you to make a comparison between McGrady's stats when playing outdoors versus Ariza's stats when playing during an aurora borealis

And how do I know? Because if Morey and Adelman refuses to play him, then he's no good to this team anymore. If he can actually contribute to this team, I'm sure Morey and Adelman are smarter than any of us to make the common sense decision to play him.

McGrady hasn't played this year so there's nothing to compare to but you do know that Ariza is only averaging 3 more points per game on two legs than McGrady averaged on one last year, right?
