I used to agree with that but with it being so obvious that they want to trade him I think the quality of offers are becoming very low. I don't enjoy the drama as much as many here but it will be interesting to see how this plays out. It will show a lot about what Morey thinks of this team, what he values and what he thinks we're missing.

That would just screw up Granger's development

They have pretty much determined its not worth it to play him. They just want him to disappear. I am not sure why they don't just trade him for something just to be done with it

Is this the same player Doc Rocket named as not being a T-Mac fan?

Yup. Unfortunately, the general population doesn't know about what is going on and their initial reaction will be anger... "How could they trade T-Mac???"

    Happily, that's how.

The two paragraphs seem to be purposely misleading to me. They talk about the possibilities of trade then the second paragraphs says they don't want him back with the team... intentionally vague as if to hint that they are desperate to trade him, but the truth is we all already know this statement is true. They have stated over and over they don't want him back with the team until they are sure he is able to come back and contribute. They don't want a repeat of last year. I'm calling BS on at least that part of the article.

I really feel like doc rocket just makes a bunch of random comments to mess with you guys.

There is one BIG player who doesn't care for his act and then any other player who gives a crap about the team and has been here is tired of his act too

Honestly, not sure who Doc was referring to because there are many guys that aren't McGrady fans.

The ones that work hard and play injured have issues...

The sad thing is if they knew the truth then they would want him shipped out yesterday.

Artest was the same thing last year by mid season.

Him and mac would alternate skipping games because they were "hurt" to keep one upping the other

i hope you're right.... though all the speculation out there has been for mediocre players, and pippen was a known commodity (cancerous, but known) where as mcgrady is a big question mark. true we had CD at the time, and now DM who is way more calculative and doesn't rush things.

    commit that....period.
Tracy on one knee is better than Trevor...period. Trevor is cool. He isnt a cornerstone of an offense. Chase isnt the messiah...hes a rookie...period. We have an okay/good team, but we need a star, a focal point. People dont realize that? Steddino????

Why is it so hard for people to understand ?

    A. The value of his massive,INSURED expiring contract....The Rockets will be getting back much, much more than most believe.

    B. that we have a bunch of guys more than capable of filling roles on a title team ....and while we wait on Tracy to be traded these same players are going to be allowed to see what they can do out there.

    C. The chemistry between said players is unfolding......We ARE NOT going to have Tracy come back and screw up what we are doing.

    D. When you add what we get for Tracy and a healthy Yao (or what we get back via trade) that this team will win probably win it all.

    E. There is a big picture here....Morey and Adelman know what they are doing. Be patient.

Why would he do that when his contract expires at the end of the year any way and won't be around next year?

The incentive would be to be traded to a team that actually wants him so he can try to earn a new contract with them.

and you base this on??? his play as of 5 years ago? 2 years ago? even if he plays okay we wont get past the first round. on top of that, as stated earlier, it would be disrespectful to those who work hard n play injured. not to mention the gay shafted us last year with his "i'll dictate when i can play" crap.
he isnt a top 10 player. he isnt even a top 50 right now. he is just a whining question mark. maybe a decent bench player at best. if his knee doesnt give out again then his crooked spine will. he's done.
