I cant understand why they would be even contemplating or considering attempting to go after Rubio. If they are talking to the T-Wolves it needs to be about Al Jefferson or K Love if ANYTHING! Shooos even Kevin Booth right about now... LOL!

Don't they make robot legs in China? Or is that Japan? Either way get this guy some steel feet so he can freaking play ball.

you realize this is professional basketball right? you think GM's keep jobs by saying, "eh...no biggie...wait and see...we'll just hit the court with our guys and it will be all good....here's your form to renew season tickets...just sign here." ???

Too bad Yao isn't an expiring contract.....

    :(

This sucks. I always hated how slow and clumsy the dude was.....but he had tremendous skills with the ball....at times beautiful......never wanted the Era to end like this. :(

Not as bad as I thought it was. Basically, an overreaction to the fact that Yao's foot is responding badly to travel. He's in no pain and the injury is less severe then previous ones, so I have hope. course, I'm not a doctor...so eh

In the West, you can be a lottery team and still win close to 45 games. I would expect the Rockets win 40+ games, and either get ousted in the first round or get a late lottery pick. Not exactly looking forward to either right now.

Yao has done a lot for this city and I have enjoyed watching him play. No one will take this news harder than Yao but atleast he earned enough money to be set for life... considering how hard he has worked to get to this point in his career you can only wish him the best and hope he plays again.

"At this stage he is having no symptoms or physical signs. He has no tenderness, no swelling, no redness. When he came back in, he was feeling like everything was perfect, and he would start rehabilitation and get ready to play. The findings on the CT were shocking for him and for us."

Need to see different doctors? Can not follow the science in here, maybe not serious as this doctor was saying, CT is not for everything, is it?

When I said they should trade Yao after this last injury due to subsequent unfinished seasons due to the same injury issue everyone thought I was crazy. Even if he comes back how long will it take before it re-occurs? Too soon. We have all these back court players and undersized forwards and NO CENTER. Morey work your nerdy magic bro!

Um, did you read the part about the fracture extending? If you have a broken foot, and you follow the doctor's plan to the letter, and not only does it not heal, but it gets worse... I don't see how that's not very, very bad.

I read the article, and I find overreaction to it......They still have options to treat it, and in the meantime Morey HAS TO go out and find some post presence

At least the news came a little earlier this season, instead of the middle of the year.

I was expecting exciting news in the GARM soon, but not like this.

Yao- best Wheelchair Basketball player of all time?

Now all the Amare and Rubio rumors make more sense. The Rockets front office knew this all along and that's why they were trying to acquire players who did not fit with Yao. Little did we know that we would never have Yao again.
