My first reaction was, "Okay, we all saw this coming."

But now I seriously feel like I'm going to throw up. It's -really- hitting me now.

No, it's not the end of the world...

    But ugh.

They should have addressed the front court situation prior to this. When they acquired the 3 picks they should have at least nabbed a big or two. The FA out there for the 4 and 5 are subpar and now are trade values are diminishing. What are we gonna do? A deal HAS to be made!

I was thinking something more like, "ITS TIME......to wait a few more years."

Maybe we were going after Thabeet, I mean we have a bunch of guards, If we could have a young defensive center similar to a young Deke than that would be better than Rubio. In fact I'd venture to say that Thabeet as our center this year would have negated Yao going down, offensive slack would have been picked up by everyone else and our team was really good when we had Deke in there as a defensive stopper.

Oh man this is terrible. Now a it makes a lot more sense why we are going after Rubio so hard. Now we really need a center.

Morey needs to go hard after Thabeet, Camby, Chandler, Kaman, and Randolph. We should be signing Gortat as we speak.

if this is true, then there's no point in trading AB and Landry. We need to build and developer our young talents.

If immobilizing the foot is a viable option for a full recovery, that is what they should do. It seems increasingly improbable it's as simple as that unfortunately,

He's had 4 bone injuries in the past 4 years. Even if this one does heal, is there any reason to not expect that it won't happen again???

Simple... Wait and See. Injuries happen... Nothing you, I or anyone can do about it. The Rockets just have to hit the court with the guys that are out there on any given night and earn paychecks... Pretty simple.
