    I believe it, this guy seems to be quite the insider based on the stuff I've read from him over the past couple months.

    This is such a sad day, time to rebuild, that's all there is to it. We have to rebuild, resign Von, let Ron go, trade Shane to Portland for some young guys. Scola? Not really sure what to do with him.

    It's pure speculation the key word is COULD! So if no signs of improvement show in a month or two then the rockets COULD! lose Yao for the season or longer.

    If this is true, which I hope to god it's not, we are looking at something far more than rebuilding. Asian sponsorships to the Rockets will gradually decline and so will the oversea fans, which in turn will bring the value of the Houston organization to a brink of mediocre... Business-wise, this is an epic fail.

    They would have to keep Yao within the organization to be a spokesperson (think Alonso Mourning to some extent) or rather and keep bringing in the oversea revenue for Les.

    You might want to try for Cousins as well... He's an athletic center who will be in the lotto next year.

    The last week is full of surprising news. Maybe this news isn't that surprising considering Yao's infamous injury history. However, it still stuns me cause I never thought Yao's career might be over due to the seemingly minor foot injury.
